News - Yemen: A senior military source stated that the specialized military drill conducted by the Armed Forces on Yemen's western coast this Sunday is an act of support for both the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples. The source explained that this drill demonstrates preparedness for any forthcoming confrontation with Washington and its allies in Yemen.

In an exclusive statement to Al-Mayadeen, the source emphasized that the US and the UK should understand they will not be immune from any engagement in Yemen and should learn from their naval and aerial failures. He noted that the new weapons unveiled by Yemen's Naval Forces are not the last, as Yemen continues to develop various weapons at an accelerated pace.

He highlighted that the extensive naval-land exercise marks a strategic success for the Yemeni Army amid ongoing US-British aggression, reassuring the resistance and jihadist movements in Gaza and Lebanon that they are not alone, as Yemen will unwaveringly continue its support.

The Yemeni Armed Forces recently conducted a series of simulated combat operations to repel enemy attacks across various terrains, including coastal areas, cities, deserts, and mountains. This exercise aimed to showcase support for the Palestinian and Lebanese people amidst ongoing retaliatory actions against the Israeli regime due to its genocidal war on Lebanon and Gaza.

The maneuver simulated the Yemeni forces' response to large-scale offensive operations, involving four virtual attack waves from hostile forces, including enemy warships preparing for a landing. Additionally, it included general mobilization forces countering enemy airborne landings aimed at seizing a village.

Since the onset of Israel's war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, following the Palestinian resistance's surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, Yemen has openly declared its support for Palestine. The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until the Israeli ground and aerial offensives in Gaza cease and have reiterated their readiness to deploy all military capabilities against Israel, including support for Lebanon's Hezbollah resistance movement.
