News - Yemen: The Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) strongly condemned the US decision to classify Ansarullah as a "Foreign Terrorist Organization."

In a statement, the JMP considered this decision a blatant attack on the Yemeni people in all their components.

The statement clarified that the decision reflects a clear bias by the US in favor of the Zionist entity and serves as punishment for the Yemeni people’s steadfast stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and their principled support for the just causes of the nation.

The JMP affirmed that the root of terrorism lies in the aggressive policies of the US, which involve killing civilians and destroying nations in Palestine, Yemen, and other parts of the region.

It called on the peoples of the nation and the free people of the world to oppose this unjust decision, emphasizing that such classifications will only strengthen the resilience and steadfastness of the Yemeni people in defending their legitimate rights and the critical causes of their nation.

As part of its war on the Yemeni people, Washington announced late Wednesday that it is designating the Yemeni government in Sana'a on its so-called "terrorism" list, threatening to mobilize its regional proxies against Yemen in an attempt to pressure the Yemeni people to abandon their support for Gaza.
