Yemen: On February 12 of the years 2016, 2017, and 2018, the US-Saudi aggression continued committing war crimes and acts of genocide against Yemenis. The brutal airstrikes and internationally banned cluster bombs targeted homes, schools, parks, infrastructure, and water wells in various Yemeni provinces, including Taiz, Sana'a, and Sa'adah.

These attacks resulted in eight martyrs and 10 wounded, including children and women, displacing dozens of families, depriving children of education and parental care, and exacerbating the already dire humanitarian crisis.

Key Incidents on February 12

2016: Sana'a

US-Saudi airstrikes hit residential areas, a school, a park, and a sports complex, injuring eight civilians and destroying homes and businesses. The attack spread fear and terror among residents, forcing many to flee their homes.

2016: Sa'adah

A Yemeni woman was severely injured by an unexploded cluster bomb left by Saudi forces in Haydan District. The explosion caused permanent disabilities, worsening the humanitarian crisis in a region already heavily bombed.

2017: Hodeidah

Saudi warplanes struck the Tihama Development Authority building in Zabid District with four airstrikes, injuring several people and causing destruction to homes, offices, and infrastructure, leaving many families without shelter or livelihoods.

2018: Taiz

An airstrike targeted a water well in Dhubwan, resulting in the death of eight civilians and injuring another. The attack contaminated the well, cutting off a vital water source for residents and intensifying their suffering.

These incidents are part of a long record of war crimes committed against civilians in Yemen, highlighting the urgent need for justice, accountability, and an end to the aggression.
