Al-Farah: Sayyed Nasrallah’s Voice and Speeches Remain in the Minds of Yemenis

News - Yemen: Member of Ansarullah's Political Bureau, Mohammed Al-Farah, commented on Yemen's participation in the funeral processions of the martyrs Syyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, which are taking place in the Lebanese capital on Sunday with a broad presence from 70 countries.

In posts on his personal X account on Saturday, Al-Farah stated, "If circumstances permitted, most of the Yemeni people would travel to Lebanon to participate in the funeral of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, as they consider them their own martyrs first and foremost."

He emphasized that the voice and speeches of the martyr leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, have been etched in the minds of Yemenis as symbols of victory, resilience, and unwavering promise since the early 1990s. He stood with the people of Yemen when the Arab nations abandoned and conspired against them. Thus, Yemenis, known for their honor and loyalty, do not forget those who stood by them in their most difficult and challenging times.

The Ansarullah political member pointed out that the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was not just a figure for Lebanon, nor confined to a sect or party. Rather, he was a transcendent figure beyond sectarian, geographical, and political boundaries. He embodied all the traits of nobility and morality, possessed eloquence and clarity, and his voice will continue to resonate in Yemenis' ears at every turning point, warning of pitfalls ahead.

"Through him, we recognized the courage and ethics of Ali, Hassan, and Hussein (peace be upon them), and from him, we learned to live without humiliation or disgrace."

Sayyed Nasrallah was assassinated in Israel’s bombardment of southern Beirut on September 27, 2024. Using 85 tons of explosives, Israeli jets leveled six residential buildings in Dahiyeh, following a week-long bombing campaign that hit many areas from southern Lebanon to Beirut.

Sayyed Safieddine was assassinated in an Israeli attack in October 2024.

Hezbollah postponed funeral ceremonies for both leaders due to fears of Israeli attacks on the ceremony.

Now, more than five months after the attack, Beirut’s airport and streets are seeing a steady stream of people, many waving Hezbollah flags and carrying images of Nasrallah as they gather to honor him.

On Tuesday, a Hezbollah official said delegations from 79 countries will attend the commemoration ceremony for Nasrallah and Executive Safieddine, scheduled for February 23.
