Unyielding Legacy of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah: A Martyr Whose Influence Cannot Be Erased

Middle East: On the day of his funeral as the leader of the martyrs of the resistance on the path to Al-Quds, in the greatest battle between the nation and the Zionist enemy, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah continues to confront the enemy’s front with the power of his towering legacy among the resistance and the free people of the world. His exceptional jihadist journey accumulated historic victories, including ushering in the "Era of Victories," which stands as a defining moment in the decisive struggle on all fronts.

Contrary to the Zionist enemy’s hopes that assassinating Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah would dismantle Hezbollah and strike the entire Axis of Al-Quds, the aftermath of this crime proved otherwise. Hezbollah demonstrated that Sayyed Nasrallah’s influence in leadership surpasses his physical presence. Thanks to the resilient organizational structure he built and his deep-rooted impact on its members and the resistance’s popular base, the Islamic resistance in Lebanon not only continued the battle but also achieved a historic victory over the enemy. This proved that the only thing the enemy accomplished through assassination was depriving Hezbollah of Sayyed Nasrallah’s physical presence in the victory speech—nothing more.

This historic triumph underscored that Sayyed Nasrallah, long a "nightmare" for the enemy, had transcended circumstances that could be controlled. His assassination was not the end of this nightmare but rather the beginning of a new chapter in which his influence would only grow stronger.

This was further reinforced by the failure of the Zionist-American enemy and its tools to exploit Sayyed Nasrallah’s martyrdom against Hezbollah and its supporters. Attempts to provoke internal Lebanese discord—whether by excluding Hezbollah from the new government or by marginalizing and pressuring its supporters—backfired. Instead of weakening the resistance, these efforts only cemented Sayyed Nasrallah’s presence as an inspirational leader, as if he had never departed.

The enemy's failure to eliminate Sayyed Nasrallah’s influence was also evident in its attempts to disrupt his funeral arrangements. These included pressuring the Lebanese government to suspend flights between Beirut and Iran, encouraging political factions to boycott the funeral, and attempting to ban the display of his images. Yet, all these efforts collapsed in the face of the overwhelming response across Lebanon, the region, and the world.

Once again, the resistance’s popular base in Lebanon proved that the enemy cannot assassinate Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s influence—neither in consciousness nor on the battlefield. Every attempt to suppress his legacy only amplifies its impact. This was evident in key moments following his martyrdom, from the brave return to South Lebanon to confront Israeli tanks refusing to withdraw, to the resistance’s defiance of the attempt to ban his images at Beirut Airport.

Simultaneously, delegations from across the region and the world flocked to attend his funeral, proving that the assassination—intended as a terrorizing message—had the opposite effect. Instead of distancing themselves from the resistance out of fear of Israeli retaliation, more people openly aligned themselves with Sayyed Nasrallah’s cause, breaking barriers of hesitation and reaffirming their commitment to his defiant jihadist path.

Thus, the funeral, which the enemy had hoped would symbolize Hezbollah’s weakness, turned into a powerful display of defiance—so overwhelming that it almost erased Sayyed Nasrallah’s physical absence from the scene entirely.

The enemy cannot even afford to ignore the reality of its failure to erase Sayyed Nasrallah’s influence. Beyond Lebanon, in Gaza, every prisoner exchange deal that embodies Palestinian resistance victories serves as a testament to his enduring impact. His promise that "Gaza will emerge victorious" materialized through the opening of the Lebanese support front—a front that, as a senior Hamas official recently revealed, Sayyed Nasrallah had pledged to keep open, even if it escalated into a full-scale war. And that is exactly what happened.

Thus, the "nightmare" that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah represented for the Zionist entity did not end with his assassination. Instead, it became even more formidable—an ever-burning inspiration in the minds of the region’s and the world’s free people. His legacy is now an entrusted responsibility, carried forward with unwavering dedication to achieving more victories, culminating in the ultimate resolution of the struggle with the enemy, in fulfillment of the divine promise that Sayyed Nasrallah always reminded the world of with absolute certainty.
