The former Egyptian parliament member, Dr. Jamal Zahran, said in an interview with "Arab Journal" that the Yemeni front was the strongest support front for Gaza in terms of quality and strategic impact, and it is enough to note that the Yemeni support comes from 2,000 km away from the capital of the Zionist entity.
He pointed out that the Yemeni front had a significant presence in changing the scene, especially with its continuation after the ceasefire in the Lebanese support front.
He explained that Yemen's involvement in the confrontation with the Zionist entity represents a very significant support for the Palestinian cause, support for the resistance fronts and the countries of the resistance axis, as well as support for Arab national security.
The former Egyptian parliament member extended his greetings to Yemen and to the "symbols of Yemeni resistance, led by Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, whose speeches consistently had a constant presence in supporting Gaza and the resistance.
Zahran praised Yemen's stance and the recent position of the leader, in which he affirmed that Yemen would resume its military operations against the Zionist entity if the enemy continued its blockade of Gaza or resumed its aggression against it.
Yemen has declared open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, after the territory’s Palestinian resistance movements carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have achieved significant victories against the naval forces of the US, the UK, and Israel. These operations led to the effective shutdown of the Port of Eilat, also known as Umm Rashrash, and forced the US aircraft carriers to retreat from the Red Sea. The Yemeni forces also sank or damaged dozens of Israeli-linked ships.
These achievements have surprised many observers, as Yemen was not previously regarded as a significant naval power. The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their operations as long as the Israeli regime maintains its war and siege against Palestinian territories.
