News- Yemen: The Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Hossein Salami, expressed his admiration for the Yemeni front's resilience and its continued support for Gaza over the past 15 months and resuming its support following the renewed Israeli siege.

Speaking on Monday, Salami described the Yemenis as a clear "sign of Allah's miracles," highlighting the significant developments in Yemen's operations against Israel and its American backers by land, sea, and air.

He emphasized that the Yemeni forces remained steadfast and unafraid of their adversaries, standing firm against them.

The IRGC commander also reiterated that "besieged Gaza stood firm and triumphed over its enemies despite the pain, intense attacks, and lack of resources."

Salami's statements come amid growing global solidarity following the deadline set by the leader of the revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi for Israel before the anticipated resumption of major naval operations. This escalation follows the continued Israeli-imposed siege on Gaza and restrictions on humanitarian aid, despite the urgent need for assistance and its inclusion as a key point in ceasefire negotiations.

Yemen has declared open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, after the territory’s Palestinian resistance movements carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have achieved significant victories against the naval forces of the US, the UK, and Israel. These operations led to the effective shutdown of the Port of Eilat, also known as Umm Rashrash, and forced the US aircraft carriers to retreat from the Red Sea. The Yemeni forces also sank or damaged dozens of Israeli-linked ships.

These achievements have surprised many observers, as Yemen was not previously regarded as a significant naval power. The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their operations as long as the Israeli regime maintains its war and siege against Palestinian territories.
