News- Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces announced Tuesday the resumption of the ban on Israeli vessels passing through the Red and Arabian Seas, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden, following the expiration of the deadline set by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, until siege on Gaza is lifted.

In a statement, the Yemeni Armed Forces said: "In support of the Palestinian people, and after the expiration of the deadline set by Sayyed Abdulmalik for the mediators to pressure the Israeli enemy to reopen the crossings and allow aid into the Gaza Strip, and since the mediators were unable to achieve this, the Yemeni Armed Forces confirm the resumption of the ban on the passage of all Israeli vessels in the operation zones, including the Red and Arabian Seas, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden."

The statement emphasized that "any Israeli ship attempting to break this ban will be targeted in the announced operation zones," reiterating that "this ban will continue until the crossings to Gaza are reopened, allowing the entry of food, medicine, and other necessary supplies."

The Yemeni Armed Forces reaffirmed their support for the Palestinian resistance, saluting "the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank."

Earlier, In a speech Friday, regarding the latest regional and international developments, the Leader stated: "We announce to the entire world that we will give the mediators a 4-day deadline. If humanitarian aid is not allowed into the Gaza Strip, we will resume our maritime operations against the Israeli enemy ."

Since Israel’s war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, following the Palestinian resistance’s Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, Yemen has declared its steadfast support for Palestine. The Yemeni Armed Forces have launched military operations targeting Israeli-linked ships and striking Israeli targets, vowing to continue until Israel ceases its aggression.
