News- Yemen: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine welcomed, on Wednesday, the courageous Yemeni stance following the announcement of the resumption of the ban on the passage of Israeli enemy ships through the Red Sea, the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, and the Gulf of Aden.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine stated that the Yemeni stance is a genuine position that reflects the firm will of the Yemeni people and their Armed Forces, emphasizing that the Palestinian people will not forget these great sacrifices and historic stances being written by Yemen.

The Popular Front pointed out that the stance of the Yemeni people confirms that the Arab nation will remain alive as long as there are free individuals who raise the banner of resistance and justice in the face of Zionist and Western tyranny.

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced Tuesday the resumption of the ban on Israeli vessels passing through the Red and Arabian Seas, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden, following the expiration of the deadline set by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, until siege on Gaza is lifted.

In a statement, the Yemeni Armed Forces said: "In support of the Palestinian people, and after the expiration of the deadline set by Sayyed Abdulmalik for the mediators to pressure the Israeli enemy to reopen the crossings and allow aid into the Gaza Strip, and since the mediators were unable to achieve this, the Yemeni Armed Forces confirm the resumption of the ban on the passage of all Israeli vessels in the operation zones, including the Red and Arabian Seas, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden."

In a speech Friday, regarding the latest regional and international developments, the Leader stated: "We announce to the entire world that we will give the mediators a 4-day deadline. If humanitarian aid is not allowed into the Gaza Strip, we will resume our maritime operations against the Israeli enemy ."

Since Israel’s war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, following the Palestinian resistance’s Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, Yemen has declared its steadfast support for Palestine. The Yemeni Armed Forces have launched military operations targeting Israeli-linked ships and striking Israeli targets, vowing to continue until Israel ceases its aggression.

Earlier, the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, reiterated Yemen’s support for the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance, warning Israel and its allies of military escalation if war in Gaza continues. He condemned Israel’s refusal to withdraw from Rafah, accusing the US of enabling its violations, and called for decisive action against US-Israeli aggression.

Sayyed Abdulmalik reaffirmed that any attack on Palestine is an attack on the entire Islamic nation, pledging Yemen’s readiness to respond. He warned that if Gaza’s war resumes, Yemen will intervene militarily, targeting the entirety of Israel, including occupied Jaffa.
