Yemen Vows Painful Response to US-Israeli Aggression, Reaffirms Gaza Solidarity

News - Yemen: The Supreme Political Council affirmed that targeting civilians proves American incompetence, and this will not deter Yemen from supporting Gaza. Instead, it will escalate the situation to a more severe and dire level.

The Supreme Political Council reassured the steadfast Yemeni people, emphasizing that the aggressors will be dealt with professionally and painfully. It pointed out that the Americans and the Zionist entity will fail and be dragged into disappointment and defeat, as happened during the Battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood.

The Council called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities regarding the American-Israeli recklessness, which will affect everyone. It confirmed that Yemen’s maritime operations will continue until the siege on Gaza is lifted and humanitarian aid is allowed in.

The Supreme Political Council stressed that the American airstrikes on Yemen represent a return to the militarization of the Red Sea and pose a real threat to international navigation in the region.

Earlier on Saturday, Trump had announced on X that he had ordered the United States military to launch “decisive and powerful military action” against, what he described as, Yemen’s Ansarullah, although the Saturday American attacks just targeted Yemeni civilians.

"We will use overwhelming lethal force until we have achieved our objective,” he had added.

The American enemy launched an aggression with nearly 30 airstrikes on the capital, Sana'a, Saadah, Dhamar, Hajjah, and Al-Bayda.

In an initial toll, 10 children and a woman were martyred, and more than 10 others, including women and children, were injured in the aggression on two houses in the Qahza area of Saada province.

In Sana'a, at least 9 martyrs and 9 other civilians, most of them children and women, were injured in an initial toll.
