Yemeni Armed Forces Target US Aircraft Carrier and Vow to Continue Operations Against Israeli Ships

Yemeni Armed Forces Target US Aircraft Carrier and Vow to Continue Operations Against Israeli Ships

News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Monday that they had targeted the American aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman in the northern Red Sea for the second time within 24 hours. The operation involved the use of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones during an engagement that lasted several hours.

In a statement for the spokesman, brigadier general Yahya Sare’e, the armed forces confirmed that the attack successfully thwarted a hostile operation that the enemy was preparing to launch against Yemen.

“As a result of the missile and drone strikes, enemy fighter jets were forced to return to their point of origin without achieving their objectives,” Sare’e added.

The Armed Forces emphasized their commitment to confronting what they described as "criminal aggression" and vowed to respond to escalation with escalation. They reiterated their determination to implement the directives of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik, regarding further escalation options if the aggression against Yemen continues.

The Yemeni Armed Forces reaffirmed their ongoing ban on the passage of Israeli ships through their operational zone. They declared that this maritime blockade will remain in effect until the siege on the Gaza Strip is lifted.

The Yemeni military also expressed appreciation for the steadfast Yemeni people and all free individuals across the nation who have rejected the ongoing aggression. They hailed the resilience of the Yemeni population and their unwavering stance in the face of external threats.

Earlier, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they had carried out a military operation targeting the US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman and its warships in the northern Red Sea with 18 ballistic, cruise missiles, along with a drone.

Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e stated that the attack was in response to the blatant aggression carried out by the American enemy against Yemen, which included more than 47 airstrikes targeting the capital, Sana'a, and seven other provinces.

The Armed Forces confirmed that the American enemy committed several massacres, with its aggression resulting in the martyrdom and injury of dozens, according to a preliminary toll.

They emphasized that they would not hesitate to target all American warships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea in response to the aggression against their country.

The Yemeni Armed Forces also reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining the naval blockade on the Israeli enemy in the declared operation zone until aid is delivered to Gaza.

The American enemy launched an aggression with nearly 30 airstrikes on the capital, Sana'a, Saadah, Dhamar, Hajjah, and Al-Bayda.

The aggression came a few days after the Yemeni Armed Forces resumed their maritime operation against Israeli-linked ships in the southern Red Sea, the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea over the Tel Aviv regime’s blockade on Gaza.

In a social media post, Trump claimed that the attack was meant to “protect American shipping, air, and naval assets, and to restore Navigational Freedom.”

However, Mohammed Abdulsalam, the spokesperson for Ansarullah, reaffirmed again that the US president's “false” claim misled international public opinion as Yemen’s naval campaign is only limited to Israeli shipping until humanitarian aid is allowed into Gaza.
