News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they had targeted several enemy warships in the Red Sea, including the US aircraft carrier USS Truman, in what they described as their third military engagement within the past 24 hours. The attacks, carried out using missiles and drones, mark a significant escalation in Yemen’s confrontations with US and Israeli forces.  

In an official statement, the spokesman general Yahya Sare’e said the operations were part of an ongoing campaign against American naval assets in the region and would continue with increasing intensity. "Our strikes will persist at an escalating pace against the American enemy, focusing on its warships within our declared operational zone," the statement read.  

The Yemeni Armed Forces also linked their actions to the war in Gaza, stating that their operations against Israel were aimed at halting what they called the "genocide" of Palestinians. They emphasized that their military campaign would only end once Israel’s assault on Gaza ceases and the blockade is lifted.  

This came as the Yemeni Armed Forces announced weeks ago to resume targeting Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea after Israel cut off the flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza earlier this month and broke the ceasefire deal brokered by Trump.

The Yemeni people reaffirm their steadfastness and unwavering support for Gaza, no matter the challenges or sacrifices, emphasizing their full readiness to confront American escalation with further escalation.
