News - World: The U.S. military is using weapons against Yemen that were originally reserved for a potential confrontation with China.

The American network CNN revealed, citing informed sources, the predicament the U.S. faces in its ongoing aggression against Yemen, which has continued since March 15 of last year.  

The network reported that the cost of U.S. operations against Yemen has reached nearly one billion dollars in less than three weeks, despite their limited impact. It confirmed that the U.S. military has used hundreds of millions of dollars worth of munitions in its aggression against Yemen and that it will likely need to request additional funding from Congress to continue its assault.  

The report quoted U.S. military officials who "complained about the massive use of long-range weapons against Yemen," affirming that "the U.S. military has employed certain weapons against Yemen that were originally reserved for any potential confrontation with China."  

The network noted that "it is difficult to determine the remaining stockpile of weapons possessed by the Yemeni armed forces" and that "U.S. strikes have not affected Yemen's military capabilities or halted their attacks in the Red Sea."  

It further explained that U.S. officials acknowledged that "the Houthis remain capable of fortifying their positions and storing weapons underground."  

The network confirmed that, according to their sources, the Yemeni armed forces have managed to shoot down two advanced American MQ-9 drones since the beginning of the U.S. aggression against Yemen on March 15 of last year.  

Yemenis have been hitting Israeli and American targets in support of Palestinians in Gaza since the regime launched its devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, and in response to the American-British aggression on their homeland.

The operations have effectively shut down the Eilat port south of the occupied territories, causing significant economic setbacks for the Israelis.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have said they will not stop their attacks until Israel’s ground and aerial offensives in Gaza end.
