News - Yemen: The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has reported an incident off the coast of Yemen.

"We received a report of an incident 100 nautical miles east of the Yemeni city of Aden," the agency said in a brief statement.

International media outlets have circulated reports indicating that a vessel was attacked by naval boats off the eastern coast of Aden.

The UKMTO frequently reports maritime incidents, many of which are related to naval operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Yemen’s Armed Forces resume military operations in support of Gaza, despite ongoing US aggression that has killed and wounded dozens across multiple provinces since the escalation of attacks last March.  

As the genocidal war against Gaza intensified, the Yemenis implemented a strategic blockade of key maritime routes, aiming to disrupt the flow of military supplies to their adversaries and exert pressure on the international community to address the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have said they will not stop their attacks until Israel’s ground and aerial offensives in Gaza end.
