News- Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced the downing of a hostile American MQ-9 drone in the airspace of Sana'a province.

In a statement released on Saturday, the Armed Forces clarified that the drone was shot down using a "locally made surface-to-air missile."

They noted that this is the second drone to be downed by air defenses within the past 24 hours, and the sixth drone this month.

The statement also pointed out that the number of drones of this type shot down during the "Promised Victory and Sacred Jihad" battle in support of Gaza has now risen to 21.

The Armed Forces emphasized that the continued airstrikes and targeting of civilians, their properties, and both public and private infrastructure "will not break the will of the Yemeni people," and that it "will only lead to greater resilience and steadfastness in support of the Palestinian people."

The Yemeni Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to continue their support operations until the aggression on Gaza ends and the siege is lifted.

In response to continued Israeli aggression against Gaza and ongoing US-UK aggression against Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched a series of attacks targeting Israeli, American, and British interests in the Red Sea and surrounding areas.

As the genocidal war against Gaza intensified, the Yemenis implemented a strategic blockade of key maritime routes, aiming to disrupt the flow of military supplies to their adversaries and exert pressure on the international community to address the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have said they will not stop their attacks until Israel’s ground and aerial offensives in Gaza end.
