Yemen:  The Yemeni Armed Forces continue to demonstrate their qualitative superiority in confronting the US aggression, reaching deep into the enemy's territory and delivering precise strikes.

In a recent development, Yemeni missiles successfully bypassed US electromagnetic defense systems in less than 10 days, as stated by Yemen's President Mahdi Al-Mashat.

The US defense systems, which include advanced fifth-generation systems such as the Aegis, THAAD, and Arrow 2-3, along with directed-energy weapons (DEWs) used for the first time in air defense missions, were the target of this technological breakthrough.

Military researcher Zain Al-Abidin Othman explained that the US sought to apply directed-energy weapons to strengthen its defense capabilities and address the massive failure of missile defense systems like Aegis, THAAD, and Arrow 2-3 in protecting Israel and US fleets.

Othman affirmed that "the US resorted to this technology for the first time in its history to counter missile and airstrikes executed by our Armed Forces." He further elaborated that US military research labs and development centers had been working on directed-energy weapons, including high-energy pulse radar and microwave systems designed to address the threats posed by ultra-high-speed missiles, such as ballistic missiles, hypersonic cruise missiles, and HGVs.

He pointed out that these systems, with their advanced technical capabilities, form one of the cornerstones of the US strategic defense system, known as the "Iron Dome," which was designed to protect US national security from nuclear and space threats posed by Russia and China.

Othman noted that the use of this technology against Yemeni missiles represents a necessary step by the US to address the failure of its other defense technologies and is an important element of the US's early-stage strength, outside of its original assumptions.

He explained that the operation of directed-energy weapons, such as electromagnetic guns and pulse radar, works by generating high-frequency radio waves that disrupt and affect the electronic systems of the target (whether a missile or an aircraft), leading to their failure and eventual destruction.

According to Othman, the ability of Yemen's hypersonic missile systems to bypass US electromagnetic defenses is an unprecedented technical achievement, marking a new failure for one of America's most critical and secretive defense systems, which were originally designed to counter missiles from China and Russia.

He concluded that this accomplishment has shifted Yemen's Armed Forces into a position that has severely undermined America's most important power cards.
