News - Yemen: Sufyan Al-Amari, Deputy Secretary-General of the People's Party, affirmed that the American enemy’s options in its war on Yemen have become increasingly limited.

In an interview with Al-Masirah TV, Al-Amari noted that discussions are underway in the US Congress regarding the high cost of the American aggression on Yemen, pointing out that the Zionist lobby is pushing for an expansion of the "battle," whether against Yemen or Iran.

He said this reflects a growing internal division and conflict of interests within the US, and that a new perspective is taking shape regarding the legitimacy and value of the aggression. He added that many American arms manufacturers have seen their market value decline due to the failure of the US military campaign in Yemen.

Al-Amari stated that this failure negatively impacts the reputation of US weapons and manufacturing, especially as Yemen has managed to develop and adapt its own weapons locally with minimal resources, achieving notable success in deterrence operations. He stressed that American interests are particularly vulnerable to damage from the declining credibility of US military power and its inability to decisively win wars—declaring all American bets have failed.

He further noted that the US is now in a state of ongoing, direct confrontation with Yemen, which has prompted repeated complaints from the enemy over Yemen’s sustained combat capability. This, he added, negatively affects the supply of US weapons to the Israeli regime, compounded by prior crises like those involving food and energy.

Al-Amari concluded that America's large-scale naval mobilization and militarization of the Red Sea will deeply affect Israel and damage the US global image, especially in front of rival powers and in strategically sensitive regions.

The United States is facing a strategic dilemma in Yemen, as the Yemeni Armed Forces are a uniquely resilient and capable force. They have remained fully engaged in targeting both Israeli and Western interests, including US naval assets.

Initially underestimated, Yemen’s military operations have now forced Washington into a difficult choice: escalate the conflict further or concede that Yemen cannot be decisively defeated. Despite sustained 
 aggressive attacks, the Yemeni forces show no signs of retreat, vowing to persist until the aggression on Gaza ends.
