News - Yemen: Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements in Palestine have praised the blessed strikes carried out by the Yemeni army deep inside the Zionist entity.

Hamas stated in a press release on Sunday that the missile strike carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces at Ben Gurion Airport, in the heart of "Tel Aviv", reflects Yemen’s firm commitment to the Palestinian cause and its genuine determination to stand by the oppressed Palestinian people, despite the ongoing brutal American-Zionist aggression against Yemen.

Hamas praised Yemen, its people, and leadership for their authenticity, courage, and for continuing their path of support and assistance to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who are facing genocide.

It called on all components of the Arab, Islamic nations to bear their historical responsibilities in supporting Palestine, defending the Palestinian people who are facing genocide, systematic starvation in Gaza, and joining the battle to defend the nation’s sanctities and confronting the plans of the fascist occupation, which seeks to dominate the region and control its people's resources.

For its part, the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine congratulated the Yemeni Armed Forces for their targeted strike on the Lod Airport.

The movement stated in a press release, "We congratulate the Yemeni Armed Forces for the targeted strike they carried out against Lod Airport in the heart of occupied Jaffa, in response to the continued American, Zionist aggression against Yemen and the ongoing siege, genocide in Gaza."

Islamic Jihad praised the courage of the Yemeni people, their heroism, and their steadfastness in supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza despite the heavy sacrifices they continue to endure.

Earlier, Abu Ubaida, spokesperson for the Ezzedin al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, extended greetings to Yemen, appreciating its continued resistance against the greatest forces of injustice and its refusal to submit.

The air defense systems in the enemy entity failed to intercept a hypersonic missile launched by the Yemeni Armed Forces, which directly hit Ben Gurion Airport.

Israeli Army Radio quoted a military source as saying that the American THAAD and Israeli Arrow systems tried to intercept the Yemeni missile but failed, as millions of Israelis rushed to shelters.

Sunday's pperation is the fourth carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces against the Zionist enemy in the past 48 hours, following two separate military operations on Friday, which targeted Zionist objectives in northern occupied Palestine.

Since Israel began its devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen has openly expressed support for Palestine’s resistance against the Israeli occupation. The ongoing aggression in Gaza has claimed the lives of over 50,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

In addition to missile strikes, Yemen has also targeted ships linked to Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom, aiming to force an end to the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until Israel halts its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
