News- Yemen: The Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Investment, along with the Yemeni Cement Corporation, has strongly condemned the Zionist aggression targeting the Bajil and Amran cement factories, as well as other civilian infrastructure.

In a joint statement issued Wednesday, the two bodies described the attacks as a deliberate act of terrorism, reflecting the enemy’s criminal doctrine of targeting industrial and civilian facilities to deepen Yemen’s humanitarian crisis.

The statement confirmed that both factories were forced to halt operations, impacting thousands of workers and their families, while also depriving surrounding communities of essential social and medical services.

The ministry and the corporation blamed the international community's silence on Israeli war crimes in Gaza for emboldening further aggression in the region. They emphasized that the attack on Yemen is a direct extension of the same criminal mindset behind the assault on Gaza.

They called on the United Nations and all free people around the world to condemn the targeting of civilian infrastructure, reaffirming that the Yemeni people will continue to pursue justice and stand in solidarity with Palestine until the aggression ends and the blockade on Gaza is lifted.

On Tuesday, the Israeli aggression launched a series of intense airstrikes targeting the capital Sana’a and Amran Governorate, marking a new escalation aimed at Yemen’s civilian infrastructure and vital facilities.

On Monday night, dozens of Israeli warplanes also bombed the port city of Hodeidah.

Since March, the United States, along with Britain and Israel, has carried out multiple airstrikes on Yemen, claiming to have hit more than 1,000 targets.

The campaign aims to halt Yemeni military operations against Israeli and Israeli-linked vessels in the Red Sea as well as attacks targeting military sites deep within the occupied Palestinian territories.
