Egyptian Journalist: Yemen’s Million-Man Marches Shatter Enemy’s Delusions of Dividing Nation

News - Yemen: Egyptian writer and journalist Ihab Tawfiq stated that the million-man marches of the Yemeni people in defiant rallies have crushed the enemy’s bets on breaking Yemen’s popular solidarity—especially after Washington’s military failure and the collapse of its schemes to fragment Yemen’s internal front.

In an exclusive statement to Almasirah TV, the Egyptian media figure said the great Yemeni people made history today, proving a new strategic equation and presenting a historic stance that stands as an indictment against the entire Arab and Islamic world. Despite being under economic siege and military aggression, Yemen has not abandoned Gaza, even as the rest of the world turned its back.

"Yemen Fights Alone on Behalf of the Entire Ummah"

Tawfiq emphasized that Yemen’s actions demonstrate its unwavering commitment to the nation’s causes, as no other besieged and targeted people have stood so firmly in solidarity with Palestine. "Yemen fights alone on behalf of all Muslims—a stance worthy of salute and admiration," he said.

He noted that Yemen’s resilience today is part of a chain of strategic victories, from successive strikes deep into the Zionist entity to the defeat of the American enemy, despite the vast disparity in military, economic, and technological capabilities.

Yemen’s Military Equation: Superiority Over US and Israel

Tawfiq explained that Yemen has foiled America’s objectives, which sought to terrorize and subjugate the country through unjust aggression waged on behalf of the Zionist entity. Yet, Yemen fought Washington directly and forced it to admit its strategic defeat in the face of Yemeni strikes.

The Egyptian journalist stressed that Yemen has imposed a new military equation, one where Yemen’s deterrence now reigns supreme. The Israeli occupation has been exposed as powerless—unable to protect its airspace or its most strategic facility, Ben Gurion Airport, which was targeted for the second consecutive time. This confirms the failure of Zionist and US air defense systems, proving that America cannot even protect its own ally.

On Friday, the Yemeni capital and other governorates witnessed massive million-strong rallies, celebrating America’s humiliating failure, defying the Zionist enemy, and reaffirming steadfast support for the Palestinian people.

Under the slogan “For Gaza’s Victory… By God’s Power, We Defeated America and Will Defeat Israel!”, the largest squares of Sana’a overflowed with enormous crowds waving Yemeni and Palestinian flags, banners of freedom.

The protesters declared that their massive turnout was a reaffirmation of Yemen’s unwavering stance in supporting Palestine and its brave resistance fighters. They reiterated Yemen’s uncompromising position in defending Gaza and backing the Resistance, declaring:

Since Israel began its devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen has openly expressed support for Palestine’s resistance against the Israeli occupation. The ongoing aggression in Gaza has claimed the lives of over 52,700 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

In addition to missile strikes, Yemen has also targeted ships linked to Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom, aiming to force an end to the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.

In a historic statement on Sunday evening, Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e declared, "The Yemeni Armed Forces will enforce a total air blockade on the Israeli enemy by repeatedly targeting airports, foremost among them Lod Airport, known by the occupiers as Ben Gurion Airport."

He emphasized that this step comes as a direct response to Israel's decision to escalate its aggressive military operations in Gaza.
