Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi Speaks on Latest Developments, in English (May 8, 2025)

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.

O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.

Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

In today's speech on the latest developments in the brutal and barbaric Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip and the supporting role Yemen (the land of faith, jihad, and wisdom) plays in this regard, we begin by speaking about Gaza:

The Israeli enemy continues its savage, criminal assault that truly deserves to be called the crime of the century—a daily act of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

According to statistics from the Government Media Office in Gaza, over the course of nineteen months, the number of martyrs, wounded, and those still missing—many of whose bodies remain trapped beneath the rubble—has exceeded 180,000 Palestinians within a confined geographic area. This represents a percentage of the population. It is an appalling crime, made even more tragic by the fact that it is unfolding in the heart of the Islamic world, surrounded by Muslim and Arab nations, targeting a segment of this Ummah—Arabs and Muslims—in full view of the entire world, both Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

What sets the genocide in Palestine apart is that it is being witnessed live, through satellite broadcasts and media coverage—unlike many other genocides in history, which were either discovered later or took place during certain periods followed by periods of calm and relative stability. In contrast, this genocide has been unfolding live before the world's eyes, reported by media outlets and continuing daily for 19 months.

The serious consequences of the Ummah's negligence towards the Palestinian tragedy!

This carries with it grave consequences—consequences directly tied to moral and religious responsibility.
The burden falls, first and foremost, on this Muslim Ummah, with Arabs at the forefront. They have largely failed to uphold their sacred and major responsibility to strive for the cause of Allah (Glory be to Him), to enjoin what is good and forbid evil, and to stand against injustice and tyranny

These are major responsibilities, and for a nation as vast as the Islamic Ummah—with all its capabilities, resources, and immense population—there is no excuse before Allah (the Almighty) for neglecting them. In fact, such negligence invites the wrath of Allah. He despises a nation that abandons its sacred duties, and this leads to dire consequences for such a nation both in this world and the Hereafter. For Allah is the Lord of all worlds, the Sovereign Who governs the heavens and the earth, the Lord of all creation, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, and the One Who directs the affairs of His creation. As for these considerations that have stripped this Ummah of its humanity, sense of responsibility, conscience, and moral values and led to this neglect of a great and sacred responsibility—whether stemming from fears, ambitions, or negative influences—they expose the Ummah to tremendous dangers—grave indeed—with very serious consequences that can lead to adverse results. When fear dominates decision-making and leads to the abandonment of critical responsibilities, this results in dire consequences—both in this world and the Hereafter—that are far worse than the very things people feared and for which they neglected their duties. {'How many a town rebelled against the command of its Lord and His Messengers! So We held it to a severe account and punished it with a terrible punishment'}[At-Talaq 65:8].

The Israeli enemy targets them in every aspect of life; it targets their food, sustenance, and drinking water. It turns every aspect into a crisis. The Palestinians struggle to obtain water to drink, to secure food and their basic needs, and to maintain any sense of stability. It forces them into continuous displacement, from one block to another, from one area to the next, leaving them no chance for stability. It targets them with deadly, destructive American bombs designed for major fortifications, dropping them on their displacement tents and targeting them even among the rubble and ruins of homes it had already destroyed. It consistently targets their healthcare and medical services, causing immense suffering for the wounded and the sick.

Thus, all forms of suffering exist in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli enemy is practising injustice there, in all its forms and at its most severe levels.

Therefore, the responsibility upon this Islamic Ummah is truly immense. Its ongoing ignorance will never absolve it of the consequences of its neglect or the repercussions of turning a blind eye to these tragic events. As this injustice deepens through daily crimes and the continuous passage of time, the responsibility grows greater, and so do the burden of sin and the reckoning before Allah, the Almighty.

The foremost command in Islamic teachings: Be mindful of Allah!

At the very heart of Muslim consciousness, there is a highly significant principle in the Holy Quran, one frequently emphasised by the Prophet (PBUH&F): mindfulness of Allah. How often does the Quran command this? {'O believers, be mindful of Allah in the way He deserves'}[Ali' Imran 3:102]. '{'O you who believe, fear Allah and seek the means [to draw near] to Him and strive in His cause so that you may succeed'}[Al-Ma'idah 5:35]. Numerous verses in the Holy Quran command us to be mindful of Allah (the Almighty) and warn against violating His valuable, blessed guiding instructions, which we desperately need.

The commands and prohibitions in the Holy Quran do not mean that Allah stands in need of His servants, as He is the Self-Sufficient, the Praiseworthy. These teachings are entirely for our benefit, and neglecting them brings severe consequences for us. Allah (Glory be to Him) is our Lord, the Sovereign of the heavens and the earth, the One who upholds justice among His servants and across His lands. Therefore, when the Ummah fails to uphold these divine teachings and neglects its blessed, sacred, and critical collective responsibilities, it faces consequences from Allah (Glory be to Him), including immediate punishments in this world.

Many people may feel content with their choices, decisions, and inclinations while neglecting these crucial responsibilities in Islam. They grow complacent and even rejoice in having stayed behind: {'Those who were left behind rejoiced at sitting still behind the Messenger of Allah and disliked to strive with their wealth and their lives in the cause of Allah and said, "Do not go forth in the heat." Say, "The fire of Jahannam is more intense in heat," if they would but understand'}[At-Tawbah 9:81]. They may cling to past times of ease and tranquillity, imagining that their decisions have brought them safety and stability in which they experienced ease and tranquility, imagining that through their choices, decisions, and orientations, they have secured safety and stability for themselves. They believe they have shielded themselves from the costs borne by those who step up to responsibility, respond to Allah (Glory be to Him), and take a stand for justice and in pursuit of a just cause. They consider themselves wise, believing their choices have ensured their safety from the sacrifices that come with taking a principled stand or fulfilling one's duty.

However, as affirmed in the Quran regarding those who wait and hesitate, it is only a matter of time, a passing phase, before the tide turns against them. What Allah plans for them is far more dangerous, severe, worse, and harsher than what they abandoned their duties to avoid.

Therefore, when Allah (the Almighty) said in the Holy Quran, {'Then wait until Allah executes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people'}[At-Tawbah 9:24], it is a serious matter and a clear warning. Likewise, when He said, {'If you do not march forth, He will afflict you with a painful torment and replace you with other people. You are not harming Him in the least. And Allah is Most Capable of everything'}[At-Tawbah 9:39], this is a clear warning, and these consequences, which Allah has promised, will undoubtedly and inevitably come to pass. And if some have weak faith in Allah's promises and admonitions, this is a dangerous state for them. In fact, such a state lies behind many stances and orientations that go against what Allah has directed and commanded—other choices, decisions, and shameful and degrading stances for the Ummah emerge because of this.

An objective look at the enemy's wickedness and crimes is sufficient to stir the conscience of the Ummah!

When we objectively reflect on Allah's instructions, His management, His promises, and His admonitions, the matter becomes entirely clear to us. The same applies when we observe reality. This is because the guidance of Allah (the Almighty) is the guidance of the One Who knows the secrets of the heavens and the earth, the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the One Who manages people's affairs, and the One Who established the laws of this life and determined the consequences of our actions. When we examine the situation objectively, we truly realise that standing idly by in the face of the Israeli enemy is not a viable option, given how openly that enemy displays hatred, aggression, evil, and extreme, appalling criminality in every form imaginable. It respects nothing at all—neither human values nor morals, neither religion nor divine law, nor legal systems or customs. It violates every sanctity. Also, how does the Israeli enemy view people, especially Muslims? How does it perceive them in its culture, its ideology, and its beliefs? And how does that drive its positions, actions, and behaviours? How does it practically translate its false and corrupt beliefs? It is evident that the Israeli enemy poses a real threat to this Ummah, as seen in its actual practices and its explicit plan against it.

Therefore, the Ummah is in a very grave state when it ignores this enemy, who is an enemy to all of it. It is hostile to the entire Ummah, not just to the Palestinian people, or solely against Hamas, the Islamic Jihad Movement, and the mujahidin, or just against some factions of the Palestinian people. In fact, the Israeli enemy targets the Palestinian people in every aspect; it targets the sanctities in Palestine, which are sacred to all Muslims. Its aggression is also directed at the Palestinian people as a whole, not confined to just one group. It targets them with killing, land confiscation and seizure, and also through torture and persecution. It uses all forms of aggression and total destruction against all. This matter is clear in the Gaza Strip and in the camps of the West Bank, and since the start of the Israeli occupation of Palestine, where the criminal Zionist gangs committed crimes that target everyone: children, women, and at times entire regions with their inhabitants. This is a clear matter.

The Zionist scheme is clear in its stance towards Arabs and Muslims; it involves clear beliefs and a single view applied to all: The view of the Israeli enemy—even towards those who normalise relations with it or show loyalty to it—is no different. The view it holds of Muslims and of the rest of humanity and human communities who are not Jewish is that they are not real human beings and that they are even worse than animals. In other words, the Israeli enemy regards all Muslims and all Arabs (without exception, whether they normalise relations, show loyalty, act as its proxies, or stand honourably in opposition to it) as being lower than the rank of donkeys, cattle, and dogs. The Talmud contains numerous explicit passages asserting this view. It thinks of everyone as below the level of animals—quasi-human beings, existing only to serve and be exploited.

This view alone should be enough to provoke outrage. This is, for example, how they view even Arab leaders according to the texts of the Talmud, within Israeli culture, and in the Israeli educational curriculum. Kings and princes may impose the harshest forms of punishment against anyone from among their people who merely utters a word that offends their feelings, shows contempt for their status or importance, or criticises them. In some Arab regimes, a king, crown prince, or a member of the royal family might take extremely severe action against a citizen simply for criticising him—even if that criticism is legitimate and valid. And yet, such criticism is nothing compared to what the Israelis say about them or how they view them. Some may resort to carrying out executions. In some regimes, they really go as far as enforcing capital punishment—with no regard whatsoever. Nonetheless, as an Arab king, leader, or prince—regardless of the title—when faced with the Israeli enemy's view of him (one that considers him to be beneath the level of a donkey, a dog, or any animal), he shows no sense of outrage, response, or motivation to take it as a dangerous and malicious enemy. This is not merely an ordinary view; rather, it is a view that shapes its attitude, which translates into violations. They consider our Islamic Ummah, with the Arabs at the forefront, as entirely open to violation in every way: its blood, honour, wealth, resources, and everything. For them, this is a religious belief, one they have been raised upon, even psychologically.

Fueled by this very belief, they commit unspeakable crimes—proudly and with chilling delight!

Hence, committing the most heinous and horrific crimes against the Palestinian people—and others as well—such as the mass killing of children and women in extremely brutal ways, is not a big deal for them. There are Israeli female soldiers who openly boast about having killed numbers of Palestinian children, personally shooting them with their rifles and executing them in cold blood. Indeed, they boast about it, take pleasure in it, and feel joy in doing so. This is because they are raised on hatred, deep malevolence, and negative views, which are instilled from childhood and reinforced through their educational curricula. These views are reinforced and instilled until they translate into actions. Moreover, they are tied to a practical plan: They are not merely theoretical or psychological; instead, they are part of a coordinated scheme. And indeed, they are united in this. Why is that? To illustrate, among the Jews, there are both religious Zionists and secular Zionists, but all of them agree on this culture, these beliefs, and these ideas. But why? That is because this serves a practical goal they all pursue: to establish dominance over this Ummah and to fulfil their conspiratorial project known as 'Greater Israel', along with the rest of its detailed agenda. It is a point of consensus. Acting upon it is a unifying and essential cause for them. Each of them competes with the other to achieve results based on that agenda.

More than forty thousand children in the Gaza Strip have become orphans. Thousands of families have been completely wiped out. It is a truly tragic situation! Hunger itself has become a tragic condition. The Israeli enemy has been preventing the entry of baby formula and food supplies into the Gaza Strip for sixty-six days. More than three thousand five hundred children are now on the brink of death due to starvation. Famine in the Gaza Strip is now threatening the lives of tens of thousands of children. Furthermore, children and pregnant women are being deprived of all the necessary nutritional and medical care.

Indeed, the Israeli enemy holds this malevolence and criminality towards all Arabs and Muslims. However, for all this period of seventy-five years until today, Palestine (specifically the Gaza Strip) has only been the frontline of this Ummah, if only the Ummah could understand and recognise this fact. Gaza has been the frontline, and it has been the greatest obstacle to the Israeli enemy's success in advancing its broader schemes and conspiracies, which are part of the overarching Zionist plan targeting the rest of the region. Had the Israeli enemy succeeded in definitively winning the battle and achieving its objectives there, it would have unleashed the same savage and criminal tactics across all other Arab countries within its reach.

What prevents it from acting in the same way towards the Egyptian people, the Syrian people, or the Lebanese people? In Lebanon, the resistance stood firmly in its path, confronted it, and succeeded in inflicting significant losses and defeats upon it. Moreover, in Syria, this same liberation-based approach to confronting the Israeli enemy served as a significant barrier to its advancement.

Until today, the Israeli position towards Syria has not changed: The Israeli enemy continues to threaten, occupy, bomb, and kill. The Israeli enemy has even had the audacity to seize larger areas in Syria in order to expand its control. It continues its attacks relentlessly, including attacking Damascus with air strikes. Similarly, criminal acts and hostile violations against Lebanon are ongoing.

The Israeli enemy has adopted this approach [towards the entire Ummah], yet Palestine remains the frontline of the whole Ummah. The Israeli enemy has encountered a significant obstacle: the resistance in Palestine, the mujahidin in Palestine, the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, their considerable sacrifices, and their unwavering commitment to their just cause. In fact, the Israeli enemy is striving with all its might to dismantle this front and overcome this obstacle so as to carry out similar actions in other countries as well.

The Israeli crimes in the West Bank!

In addition, regarding the West Bank, the Israeli enemy continues its assaults there: destruction, killings, and abductions. The usurping herds carry out all forms of thuggery, aggression, and criminal acts against the Palestinian people in the West Bank. They set fire to farms, blonder livestock, and storm schools. They even raid wedding celebrations, denying Palestinians the simple joy of celebrating in peace. They uproot olive trees, set fire to crops, and destroy homes. What they have done in Tulkarm, over this extended period—more than one hundred and two days—includes all forms of destruction, bulldozing, abductions, killings, and more. Similar criminal practices are being carried out in other parts of the West Bank as well.

As for their focus on the city of Al-Quds and on the Al-Aqsa Mosque (which is one of the most important and highly revered Islamic sacred sites), this is both evident and well known. Such actions ought to provoke the anger of all Muslims. It is an extremely serious matter if their sanctities no longer hold any significance to them. The Israeli enemy continues excavations, digging, and the construction of synagogues around the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and it is actively pursuing the Judaisation of the holy city and continues working on completing the new 'Elevator Project'. In addition, hundreds of Zionists invade the Al-Aqsa Mosque on an almost daily basis, dancing in its courtyards under the protection of Israeli forces. The enemy is also seeking to expand colonial outposts near Bab Al-Hadid—one of the gates of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

And so the Israeli enemy continues its assaults, which—as we have mentioned—are in themselves provocative, criminal acts that gravely insult Muslim sanctities and Muslims at large. At the same time, these actions serve as conditioning steps for what the enemy ultimately aims to achieve: the full seizure and destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the construction of the temple that the enemies claim.

The ongoing resilience of the mujahidin in Gaza deserves the Ummah's rallying support

In the face of all this, our fellow mujahidin in the Gaza Strip continue to stand firm and confront the Israeli enemy. They have carried out a series of deadly ambushes, inflicting severe damage on the enemy. They also engaged the enemy in several operations and released highly significant scenes on that. These scenes demonstrate the effectiveness of their position, resilience, and steadfastness. They confront and fight the enemy with improvised explosive devices and engage in great, heroic jihadist operations against it. For example, they lured a Zionist force into the entrance of an explosive-rigged tunnel, where they killed an officer and a soldier and wounded several other soldiers. They even target Zionist tanks with Al-Yassin rockets. These heroic and significant operations have been officially announced, and powerful and significant footage has been released documenting them.

As we have emphasised in all previous speeches, this level of resilience, bravery, and dedication displayed by our Palestinian fellow mujahid (from the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Al-Quds Brigades, along with other jihadist factions) and this level of steadfastness, cohesion, and adherence to the just cause shown by the supporting base (the Palestinian people) in the Gaza Strip and the free Palestinians across Palestine, deserve that this Ummah rallies around it and offers all forms of support. That is because it is a responsibility, on the one hand, and if the Ummah carried out this responsibility and provided support as required, this would make a significant difference to the situation. In fact, the Palestinian people possess the moral strength and will to endure, but they need this Ummah to support them and stand by them.

Even though the Israeli enemy possesses vast capabilities, it receives wholehearted backing from the infidel West. America backs it with all its resources and capacities, providing all forms of support, and Western states stand by it and provide generous, varied, and immense support.

So why does this Ummah not adopt the right position and support a people who are part of it, fulfilling its responsibilities before Allah and acting in its own interest by working to maintain its security, advance its causes, and keeping danger at bay?! This is grave neglect and serious shortcoming, and it signifies the Ummah's significant decline in humanity, morals, values, and concern for its own causes: {'And do not be like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget their own selves'}[Al-Hashr 59:19]. There is no attention paid to this responsibility in any regard.

Yemeni operations maintain momentum: Lod Airport Hit and the Israelis Admit Significant Impact!"

Regarding the position of our dear people in supporting Gaza in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad, as well as Yemen's distinguished and comprehensive action—driven by faith, humanity, morals, values, and religion—operations are ongoing. Since the Israeli enemy renewed its acts of genocide and, before that, its blockade and deliberate starvation of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, Yemen has continued to provide comprehensive support—both officially and at the grassroots level—across all fields and at every level:

  • militarily,
  • by imposing its own blockade on the Israeli enemy, and
  • through diverse popular activities.

Since the second round of the latest escalation (from the 15th of Ramadan until the 9th of Dhu Al-Qadah), over 131 support operations have been carried out, by the aid and grace of Allah. They involved 253 ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Military operations of this magnitude (involving missile, drone, and naval forces) have persisted despite the fact that the American enemy has entered a second round of intense aggression and heavy bombardment targeting our country in an attempt to thwart these operations. Yet the operations have pressed on with great intensity and highly significant momentum.

Throughout this week alone, numerous operations have been carried out against the Israeli enemy in several cities in the depth of occupied Palestine. These operations involved ten missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles directed at Yaffa, Asqalan, the Negeb, Umm Al-Rashrash, and Haifa— all against enemy-affiliated sites.

One of the most notable operations this week was a major, significant, and successful strike on Lod Airport—which the Israeli enemy calls 'Ben Gurion Airport'. This operation resonated widely and had a profound impact. Why is that? It is because Lod Airport is one of the most sensitive facilities for the Israeli enemy. It enjoys immense strategic importance as a primary gateway connecting the enemy to countries around the world. It is extensively relied upon for movement to and from occupied Palestine. It handles millions of journeys annually, with extremely high transport and traffic volume, serving as a primary lifeline. Its strategic importance is evident in all respects—economically and beyond. In fact, it plays a fundamental role in connecting the Israeli enemy to the rest of the world.

In terms of protection, Lod Airport benefits from multiple layers of intensive defence. The Israeli enemy has concentrated on providing this facility, which it considers very important, with exceptional protection. That is why several air-defence systems are deployed in concert to protect it: Four layers of defence and a variety of integrated systems fulfil this function. Most recently, the American THAAD system—one of the premier American air-defence systems, providing protection against both missiles and aircraft—was added to the mix. Despite all of that, the operation was a success; clear documentation and evident footage confirm the missile's arrival at this airport.

This operation has its effects from various considerations and different perspectives: Given the immense importance of this critical site—on which the Israeli enemy relies and which holds strategic importance and symbolic value—the operation exposed the enemy's vulnerability to Yemeni missiles and the failure of its defence systems. This included not only Israeli air-defence shields but also those provided by the Americans. In the aftermath, the world's largest airlines announced the suspension of their flights to the occupying entity, and passenger numbers plunged. Furthermore, the tourism industry, financial sectors, and air-freight-dependent trade incurred heavy losses.

Statements from Israeli enemy experts, officials, and media outlets demonstrate the extent of the impact and importance of this operation. We briefly mention some of them. One statement affirms that the attack sent over three million Zionists to shelters and halted airport activity for a critical period. This collective panic and fear and the insecurity among the Zionists carry immense weight in this confrontation and play a key role in exerting pressure on the Israeli enemy. Another one states that the launch of a missile by 'the Houthis' from Yemen has resulted in a real state of panic after it struck a sensitive site in 'Israel'—this is what they say. Still another statement says that the strike hit one of the most sensitive sites in 'Israel': 'Ben Gurion Airport'. This is how they express the significance of this site. It is also mentioned that the Yemeni ballistic missile breached all Israeli and American air-defence systems and struck inside 'Israel' and that twenty-seven foreign airlines had cancelled flights to 'Ben Gurion Airport' until further notice. Regarding their comments on the position of Yemen, they stated that Yemen is an enemy unlike any enemy 'Israel' has faced before, possessing powerful incentives and a conflict against it rooted in deep convictions, and that there is no exemplary solution to this challenge. They warned that 'the Houthis' appear indifferent to the potential reactions and are prepared to accept losses in exchange for causing harm and that this poses a real dilemma.

The resonance of this operation was evident on a global level across various media outlets, in the comments of various experts and analysts. Perhaps, many have seen numerous analyses and comments regarding the operation.

Clear evidence of the complete failure of the American and Israeli aggression against our country!

This week, the Americans continued their aggression in support of the Israeli enemy against our country, carrying out numerous assaults: nearly two hundred air strikes and naval bombardments, using bombers and other warplanes. These strikes targeted several governorates, including Sana'a, Sa'dah, Al-Hudaydah, Amran, Al-Jawf, Ma'rib, and Al-Mahwit, with the majority of the attacks aimed at civilian sites.

This week also witnessed Israeli aggression. As the Americans failed to effectively support the Israeli enemy, it had no choice but to directly launch attacks against our country, targeting Sana'a Airport, the seaports, power stations, and cement factories.

In other words, all that the Israeli enemy targeted were well-known and clearly identifiable civilian objects. All of this stands as evidence of both American and Israeli failure in a critical area: confronting Yemen's military capabilities. This is because one of their main objectives has been to put an end to military operations, including missile and drone strikes, but they have failed in this regard. As a result, they have resorted to targeting civilian objects to apply direct pressure on the general public and striking service facilities and public infrastructure to inflict widespread harm on the Yemeni people.

They expect that this will negatively impact the will of our people, their position, steadfastness, and resilience. The intended target of this aggression is our people as a whole, attacking services that concern everyone and interests that affect all of them. Their goal is to break their will, weaken them, and undermine their steadfastness, as well as their unified position in support of military operations against the Israeli enemy.

This aggression, in and of itself, stands as proof that both the Israeli enemy and the Americans are enemies of our people as a whole. Their hostile operations target all of this people, not just a specific group. The airport belongs to all Yemenis, the port is for all Yemenis, and the public services, including power stations and others, serve the entire population. As we've mentioned, this stands as a testament to the failure of both the Americans and the Israelis, as they failed to neutralise our military capabilities, which have posed a significant challenge for the enemy. It has been a problem for the Americans, who found their aggression met with missile attacks on their aircraft carriers, warships, and military vessels at sea. They are also faced with all forms of resistance to their aggression, with every available means used to counter it. This is not to mention the continuous development of our capabilities, including air defence capabilities, which have downed many of the enemy's advanced aircraft, such as the MQ-9 drones. This is irrefutable evidence of its failure and stands as a testament to the deep-seated malice it carries towards our country.

During the second round of escalation in their aggression against our country, from the 15th of Ramadan until the 9th of Dhu Al-Qadah, the Americans conducted continuous bombing operations against our country for over a month and a half. The number of air and naval strikes exceeded 1,712. This clearly indicates an escalation in the second round. In fact, it is evident to our dear people and all media observers that when the Americans entered this second round of aggression in support of the Israeli enemy, they did so with intense escalation, both in air strikes and naval attacks. However, despite their efforts, they suffered a resounding failure: They did not succeed in weakening our military capabilities, halting our operations, or breaking the will of our people.

Every week, our dear people take to the streets in massive, million-strong demonstrations across hundreds of squares—demonstrations that are unmatched anywhere in the world. This stands in stark contrast to Americans' repeated failure to weaken our military strength, limit our operations, or shake the will of the people or their firm position. None of their attempts has yielded any result.

Shedding light on the American announcement to end its aggression against Yemen

Due to this failure, the Americans decided to halt their support. This is what they themselves have announced and communicated to our brothers in Oman.

The American stance was not, as the criminal infidel Trump claimed, based on a plea or surrender from Yemen. That claim is so far from the truth that it is beyond belief. This is, in and of itself, the impossible—the very definition of impossible!

As a Yemeni people, we have taken a stand in support of the Palestinian people against the Israeli enemy, which is committing genocide and the most horrific and brutal crimes the world has ever witnessed, driven by our faith, trusting in Allah, and relying solely on Him, the Almighty. And we have witnessed Allah's support, victory, guidance, and vast care, along with the powerful impact and effectiveness He has granted to our position. If the position of our dear Yemeni people—the Yemen of faith—hadn't been powerful and influential, the Americans wouldn't have mobilised all their capabilities, deploying aircraft carriers and bombers to halt this position. If our people's position were merely theatrical displays, the Americans wouldn't have reacted at all. Yet, they have responded with such a large-scale mobilisation:

  • deploying bombers, aircraft carriers, and other military assets;
  • using special bombs and weapons in their attacks on our country; and
  • launching air strikes on a large scale and with great intensity.

All of this mobilisation was due to the great effectiveness of the Yemeni position; that effectiveness stems from Allah's support, aid, and guidance. It falls within His true promise, as He said, {'O you who have attained faith, if you support Allah, He will grant you victory and strengthen your foothold'}[Muhammad 47:7]. Indeed, this has been evident even in confronting the American aggression. Our direct course of action in support of the Palestinian people, through maritime operations and the enforcement of a navigation ban on Israeli ships, has achieved complete and absolute success. In addition, operations deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories against the Israeli enemy, using drones and missiles, have continued with increasing intensity and frequency, showing a clear, positive uptick in the scale of these operations. This is not to mention the sustained efforts to confront the American aggression and target American aircraft carriers in direct response to their aggression.

The recent scandal that ultimately came to light revealed the extent to which these operations affected the Truman aircraft carrier, which has been relying on evasive tactics and manoeuvres—as we've frequently mentioned. The situation escalated to the point where key American fighter jets began to fall off the aircraft carrier, notably the F-18s, each worth sixty-seven million dollars. The most recent incident occurred on Tuesday evening—during a sharp evasive turn by the carrier in response to a Yemeni operation, just before the American announcement—when one of these jets fell into the sea.

At every stage of this conflict up to this day, it has never occurred to us, nor have we ever considered, let alone accepted, the idea of addressing a criminal, oppressive, tyrannical, and arrogant enemy in a language of surrender, entreaty, or weakness. As a people grounded in our faith and shaped by our Quranic culture, we act in line with the Quranic attributes: {'They will be humble with the believers but firm towards the disbelievers'}[Al-Ma'idah 5:54]. We follow remarkable attributes of faith: {'They are firm with the disbelievers and compassionate with one another'}[Al-Fath 48:29]. We are known for chanting, at every event and occasion, the strongest expressions that reflect our honest position: 'Death to America, death to Israel.' As you see, our slogan is clearly displayed here, and we keep chanting this slogan on every occasion as a forceful declaration of our faith-based pride. On the ground—our missiles, drones, and war boats—our military operations are all well-known. The resoluteness of our political stance is equally clear and unmistakable.

In short, our clear and publicly declared priority is to support the Palestinian people against the Israeli enemy. This is a priority we are committed to. The Americans started the first round of aggression against our country in support of the Israeli enemy and continued their assault, with Britain participating at several stages. That phase persisted until understandings were reached between the Palestinian people, represented by the leadership of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Israeli enemy—those understandings that were brokered by Qatar and Egypt and backed by American guarantees. We then entered a period of pause, during which American aggression also ceased. However, the American position shifted again: Trump spoke of displacing the Palestinian people from Gaza, granting the Israeli enemy free rein to resume its campaign of genocide. The Americans also provided a vast stockpile of bombs and missiles to facilitate the killing of children and women in Gaza and allowed the blockade of food and medicine—even baby formula and essential food supplies for the people of Gaza. In response, we resumed our efforts comprehensively, guided by the demands of the moment, the scale of the battle, and the nature of the situation—we also made our position clear.

The Americans then launched a new round of aggression against our country, with hopes of securing a decisive outcome and achieving what they could not achieve in previous stages. Yet they failed. Indeed, their attempts ended in evident failure. This is evident even in the downing of MQ-9 drones, seven of which were shot down during the month of Shawwal alone, which shows that our approach is both effective and advancing. The Americans escalated their attacks, but they achieved nothing except greater losses and deeper failure. This is not to mention what they faced at sea: Their aircraft carriers in the northern Red Sea faced fierce resistance, and their costly and strategically vital F-18 fighter jets fell overboard and were destroyed.

In short, the Americans have achieved nothing but failure. They intensified their efforts, but this led to even greater failure. It is true that they inflicted heavy destruction on civilian property, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and wounded among our deer people—martyrs in the cause of Allah, in defence of a rightful stance and a just cause—but they failed completely to achieve anything: They failed to halt our operations, destroy our capabilities, or break the will of our dear people, who are driven by firm faith and a deep awareness of the value of their position.

Thus, the American announcement is not the result of any pleading or surrender; it only reflects the clownish behaviour Trump is known for. As we have repeatedly affirmed, our priority has always been to support the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin, but the Americans initiated a round of aggression, which we stood up to. If they involve themselves in a third round, we are fully prepared to confront them again.

Therefore, our position remains unwavering and comprehensive in supporting the Palestinian people—whether through missile strikes and drone operations deep into occupied Palestine, or by blocking Israeli ships from sailing through the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab Al-Mandab strait. Our position has not wavered, weakened, or regressed. It stands in full strength and readiness. And should the Americans become entangled once more, we are ready to face them, seeking support from Allah, the Almighty.

As for the demonstrations around the world, there have been demonstrations in Arab countries, in some European nations, and in other regions. This week has also witnessed humanitarian efforts to break the Israeli blockade on Gaza. The Israeli enemy brutally and criminally attacked the Freedom Ship, in complete disregard for human values. Student activism continues in American universities, despite immense pressure from the Trump administration on universities.

Here in our own country, public events, demonstrations, and mobilisation activities continue to take place. Over the past nineteen months alone, we have seen more than 1.9 million various activities—from demonstrations and marches to public assemblies and mobilisation campaigns. This reflects the great engagement of our dear people.

Given the magnitude of Yemen's position, sacrifices are Inevitable—but they will not influence its position!

As we've said before, our position is unwavering and rooted in faith. Sacrifices, martyrdom, and even the Israeli enemy's bombardment of civilian areas do not undermine the resolve of our people or break their will. This is because it is a faith-driven will, for the sake of Allah (Glory be to Him). Any sacrifice made in this context is a sacrifice in the path of Allah and for a just cause. It is not as if refraining from action would have spared us from harm and hardships. The Muslim Ummah is under attack and being exhausted. Others are enduring tremendous losses for false causes—some even offering wealth and blood for a trivial or meaningless cause in support of the American and Israeli enemies. There is a massive and tragic waste. For example, what is happening in Sudan is a devastating loss of life, wealth, and everything—and the same could happen in any Arab or Muslim country, here or there.

When pursuing such a just cause and engaging in jihad to this extent we see in Yemen, it is natural that sacrifices are made, as war brings with it well-known hardships—such as attacks on civilian property—but these can never shake our position. It is a cause worth sacrificing for; it is for the sake of Allah (Glory be to Him) and in His cause. These are sacrifices that are valued by Allah and help shape and build our reality.

As we face this, we establish our reality on solid foundations, confronting every challenge. We even work towards building our economy, although we are building from beneath zero, not merely from scratch! Yet we do this on a solid foundation. We design a future reality that is strong in every respect, built upon enduring foundations that empower our people to face all challenges, rather than leaving them with a weak and fragile structure.

We patiently endure all that, for patience is an integral part of faith and a requirement of our position: Allah commands, {'O believers! Patiently endure, persevere, stand on guard, and be mindful of Allah, so you may be successful'}[Ali 'Imran 3:200]. We patiently endure that because Allah is with the patient: {'Allah is truly with those who are patient'}[Al-Baqarah 2:153], {'And Allah is with the patient'}[Al-Baqarah 2:249]; {'And Allah loves the patient ones'}[Ali 'Imran 3:146]. All of this is commanded in the Holy Quran, and Allah has promised to be with us when we endure patiently for the sake of an honourable cause. At the same time, this patience leads to significant, promising, and truly magnificent outcomes in the future.

Our will remains unbroken. Many people are worn out, and our nation is drowning in crises. Just look at the state of other countries. Some people exhaust themselves serving their enemies, while we give what we give for the sake of Allah and in obedience to Him. Nothing is lost, no matter how small: Allah (Glory be to Him) says, {'Whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be paid to you in full and you will not be wronged '}[Al-Anfal 8:60]. This grants us the tremendous rewards Allah has promised in both this life and the next life—a life that weighs heavily in the considerations of every believer.

We cannot afford to fall into a state of fragility, weakness, or submissiveness in the face of any attack—whether they destroy an airport or a cement factory. Our willpower, dignity, and faith are stronger than all of that. What matters is that we preserve our human dignity, our religious freedom, our spiritual pride, our honour, and our willpower as a proud and free people who have not bowed to the enemy or submitted to them. This is far more important than any station, factory, or facility that might be targeted—these can be rebuilt, stronger and more impactful, by Allah's will, as Allah says, {'And they did not waver regardless of that which afflicted them in the way of Allah, nor did they weaken, nor did they give in. And Allah loves the patient ones'}[Ali 'Imran 3:146].

The real loss is when a nation or people forfeit their human dignity, their faith, and their eternal standing with Allah—when they yield and surrender to the enemy. This results in devastation and ruin in both this world and the Hereafter. As for sacrifices made for the sake of Allah, they are not losses—they carry value, meaning, and great, calculated outcomes. The one who truly loses is the one who forfeits the pleasure of Allah and incurs His wrath and loathing.

The operations, positions, popular activities, and million-strong demonstrations all stand as testament to our faith-driven steadfastness. Last week's million-strong demonstration was tremendous, honourable, and significant. Tomorrow's demonstration, Allah willing, will be a celebration of America's great failure. It will also reaffirm our steadfastness in confronting the Israeli enemy, send a message of defiance and resilience to this enemy, and express unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people.

I call on our beloved people to take part in massive, million-strong demonstrations to express gratitude to Allah (the Almighty) for the American failure, to challenge the Israeli enemy, and to show steadfastness in maintaining our position against this enemy and standing in faithful, brotherly solidarity with the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin.

I hope the turnout will be large and significant at Al-Sabeen Square in the capital, Sana'a, as well as at other public squares in other governorates.

An important point to conclude with!

Before concluding, we take the opportunity to address all the regimes and governments across the Islamic world, offering them sincere advice and reminding them of their responsibility in light of the escalating tension between India and Pakistan. The Americans are inciting India against Pakistan, and serious efforts must be made to contain this tension and thwart American attempts to spark a devastating war between the two nations. We are currently witnessing commendable efforts by Iran; however, there is a pressing need for broader and more coordinated action to defuse the situation. The Americans clearly have their own agendas and goals for fuelling such dangerous strife and major conflicts.

We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him, have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, and set free our captives. O Allah! Grant us victory. You are the Hearer of Prayer!

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
