Yemeni Forces Target Lod Airport with Hypersonic Missile, Reinforce Air and Naval Blockade

News - Yemen The Yemeni Armed Forces renewed their targeting of Lod Airport, known in Israel as Ben Gurion Airport, on Tuesday evening.

“The Rocketry Force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation targeting Lod Airport, known in Israel as Ben Gurion Airport, located in the occupied Jaffa area, with a hypersonic ballistic missile,” Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced in a press statement.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree stated in a press release, "The missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation targeting Lod Airport, known in Israel as (Ben Gurion Airport), located in the occupied Jaffa area, with a hypersonic ballistic missile."

He confirmed that the missile successfully hit its target, triggering widespread panic and forcing millions of Zionist settlers to flee to shelters, while halting airport operations for nearly an hour.

General Sare'e added that this operation reaffirms the ongoing ban on air navigation at the targeted airport, issuing a warning to airlines that have not yet suspended flights to occupied Palestine, urging them to follow the lead of those who have already done so.

He stressed, “Our great people will not abandon the Palestinian people who are facing extermination.”
He called upon all free people of the Islamic nation to fulfill their religious, moral, and humanitarian responsibilities toward the oppressed Palestinian people.

Furthermore, he underscored that the Yemeni Armed Forces will continue their support operations, including the air blockade on Lod Airport and the maritime blockade on Israeli navigation in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea. These actions, he said, will only cease once the aggression on Gaza ends and the siege is lifted.

Earlier, Israeli media confirmed the suspension of air traffic at Lod Airport following a missile launch from Yemen. Sirens were reported in occupied Al-Quds and Jaffa, with alerts sounding across several other areas after the attack.

Israeli enemy reports also mentioned a fire on one of Al-Quds’s mountains, caused by shrapnel from interceptors fired at the incoming missile. Emergency services reported injuries among settlers due to stampedes as people fled to shelters.

The Yemeni-imposed naval and air blockade on Israel comes in response to its ongoing atrocities against civilians in the Gaza Strip and its continued obstruction of humanitarian aid, which has resulted in severe starvation among Gaza’s population.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have repeatedly affirmed that their military operations deep inside Israeli-occupied territories will persist until both the aggression against Gaza ends and the blockade is fully lifted.
