News - Yemen: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated that "the repeated targeting of Yemeni ports is clear evidence of the abject failure of the Zionist entity in achieving its objectives in Yemen, and an attempt to seek illusory victories after its image has been shattered before the world."  

In a statement issued on Friday, the Ministry affirmed that "the repeated Zionist aggression against Yemeni ports will be met with a painful response," emphasizing that such aggression constitutes "a blatant violation of Yemen’s sovereignty, the United Nations Charter, and all international norms, conventions, and laws."  

The statement condemned the international community’s deafening silence regarding Zionist aggression against Yemen, noting that this silence has encouraged its continuation in destroying the capabilities of the Yemeni people.  

The Ministry called on the Arab Summit, set to convene in Baghdad, to "adopt a firm Arab stance in support of the Palestinian people, who are facing the most horrific genocide in history."  

It reaffirmed the Yemen's continued support for Gaza, including through the maritime and aerial blockade of the usurping Zionist entity until its aggression and siege on Gaza are brought to an end.

At least 12 citizens were killed and wounded in the recent Zionist aggression on Salif and Hodeidah ports as a preliminary toll, according to the Health Ministry.

These new enemy attacks coincide with the massive million-strong rallies in the capital Sana’a, Hodeidah governorate, and other Yemeni provinces under the slogan "With Gaza… Confronting the Crimes of Genocide and Starvation."

They also come as the Yemeni Armed Forces continue their heroic and courageous operations, striking deep into the Zionist entity and disrupting air traffic at Lod Airport (referred to by the Israelis as "Ben Gurion").

As the genocidal war on Gaza escalated, the Yemenis enacted a strategic blockade on essential maritime routes to obstruct the delivery of military supplies to Israel and urge the international community to take action regarding the ongoing humanitarian emergency in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared they will continue their assaults until Israel ceases its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
