In an interview with Almasirah TV on Sunday, Al-Ansi explained that the security agencies' efforts to pursue cells linked to the Zionist and American enemies and their tools have deprived them of vital informational assets in the battle.
He added that America’s attempts to compensate for this deficit through its spy drones have failed, as the Yemeni Armed Forces successfully shot down MQ-9 drones, one of the most advanced weapons in the American enemy’s arsenal.
Al-Ansi pointed out that the synergy between security agencies, the military, and the people has rendered the enemy "blind" on the battlefield, forcing it to target the interests of the people and civilian service facilities. He described the loss of the enemy’s intelligence individuals as "a security victory equal to major triumphs in confronting aggression."
Reflecting on the pre-September 21 Revolution era, Al-Ansi described Yemen as "wide open to enemies," where American intelligence operatives moved freely with the approval of the then-ruling regime. Foreign embassies were active with their agents, and camps of organizations like ISIS and Al-Qaeda operated openly in Al-Bayda Governorate.
He affirmed that the September 21, 2014 Revolution led to the leadership and people confronting these tools, hastening the departure of foreign embassies, their intelligence operatives, and agents. He stressed that Yemen transformed from "a hotbed of global espionage" into a country with strong leadership and will.
Al-Ansi also noted that before the revolution, security agencies and institutions were "dilapidated" and served the "enemies" under direct American management. However, after Yemen’s liberation from the rule of traitors and agents, the scene changed.
He warned that the enemy continues attempts to recruit and activate individuals, but they remain under the watchful eyes of the people and security agencies. He called on citizens to redouble their efforts and report any suspicious movements, emphasizing the need for the Yemeni people to remain vigilant in confronting and thwarting enemy mercenaries.
Prior to the September 21 Revolution, the American ambassador was the primary decision-maker, imposing his authority in all sectors in Yemen. However, following the revolution, the American ambassador fled Yemen, along with the US Marines, who had a base near the American embassy in Sana’a, which served as a control center for political decision-making in the country.
Since the revolution, the Yemeni people have experienced freedom and independence. One of the revolution's main goals was to preserve Yemen's national identity, particularly in the face of foreign interference targeting the faith-based values of the Yemeni people.
