On Tuesday morning, Israeli soldiers stormed several homes in the town of Anabta, in east of Tulkarm, abducting three young men, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
It added that the regime forces also raided the town of Kobar, near Ramallah, and abducted two more people, as Israeli forces also shut the main entrance to a nearby town.
According to Wafa, Israeli troops also shot and wounded an elderly Palestinian in al-Ein refugee camp near Nablus.
The 62-year-old Palestinian sustained a foot injury, it said, adding that Israeli military vehicles raided the eastern part of Nablus, patrolling several streets early on Tuesday.
Furthermore, Israeli settlers assaulted a Palestinian man and his wife in Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil, leaving them with bruises, Wafa said in a separate report.
Israeli settlers also smashed a vehicle and destroyed cameras at the al-Fakhit School after raiding it, the report further said.
Israel launched an intensified offensive against the occupied West Bank on January 21, claiming that it was targeting resistance fighters of the Jenin Battalion.
Thousands of Palestinians have left their homes in Jenin and the nearby city of Tulkarm in the northern West in recent months. Palestinians fear Gaza-style clearance as Israel squeezes Jenin and other refugee camps across the occupied region.
The regime has ramped up its West Bank violence since October 7, 2023, when it launched its genocide in Gaza. Since then, Israeli forces and settlers have killed about 1,000 Palestinians in the occupied territory.
