News - Yemen: Military and strategic expert Brigadier General Abdulghani Al-Zubaidi commented on today’s announcement by the Yemeni Armed Forces, delivered by their official spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree, regarding a dual military operation targeting Lod Airport (known as "Ben Gurion Airport" by Israel) with a hypersonic "Palestine-2" ballistic missile, as well as a vital Zionist enemy target east of occupied Yafa using a "Zulfiqar" ballistic missile.  

In an exclusive statement to Almasirah TV, Al-Zubaidi stated: "When we speak today, we must address two critical issues. First, there is a battle being waged today—a battle managed with professional military precision, a military mindset that knows its objectives and understands when to deploy these missiles, whether in large-scale, dual operations or individual strikes. Second, the key lies in the nature of these targets and how the Yemeni Armed Forces can conduct such a professional battle amid a comprehensive aggression on Gaza and amidst a barbaric war." 

He emphasized that while the world stands idle, watching the Zionist regime’s savage and barbaric war against our brothers in Gaza, and the violations of Islamic sanctities—including Al-Aqsa Mosque—under the watch of two billion Muslims, it means that Yemen’s unprecedented military operations in the history of the Zionist entity will continue without pause.  

Al-Zubaidi pointed out that today’s dual operation targeting Lod Airport and a vital site in occupied Yafa is part of Yemen’s strategic approach, which, since entering Phase One eighteen months ago, has been waging a professional military campaign with growing military power, advanced capabilities, and precise execution that achieves its objectives.  

The Enemy is in a Dilemma  
Brigadier General Al-Zubaidi affirmed that the enemy is now in a crisis: "How will it deal with these advanced missiles? How will it respond to this military performance? How will it handle Yemeni strikes that reach Ben Gurion Airport, which the enemy heavily relies on?"

He noted that many airlines that previously flew to this airport have now suspended or canceled their flights, reflecting the operation’s impact.  

Yemen’s Growing Military Arsenal  
Al-Zubaidi highlighted that Yemen possesses an expanding and effective military arsenal, with continuously developing capabilities and advanced production. He stressed that Yemen’s military operations, led with high professionalism, are being witnessed by the world—especially amid the ongoing crimes in Gaza.  

A Message to the American Enemy  
The military expert underscored that this operation sends a clear message to the US, which is managing the war alongside the Zionist entity. He added:  

"These Yemeni missiles are a supporting tool for the Palestinian negotiator, conveying: 'You are not alone—we stand with you.' The Yemeni people are behind you, launching missiles in solidarity, support, and defense of your cause."

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced Tuesday the targeting of Lod Airport and a vital target in the occupied Yafa area in a dual missile operation using two ballistic missiles, one of which was hypersonic.  

Since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza in October 2023, Yemen has emerged as a pivotal regional actor in the confrontation, aligning itself firmly with the Palestinian resistance. The Yemeni Armed Forces, under the leadership of the Sana'a-based government, have launched a series of strategic military operations—including missile and drone strikes as well as naval and aerial blockades—targeting Israeli-linked infrastructure and shipping routes.
