During his visit on Wednesday to Sana’a International Airport, President al-Mashat stated that
"the criminal aggression carried out by the Israeli enemy today at Sana’a Airport will not deter us, rather, it will drive us to do even more." He added, "Our men will come with aircraft, and the airport will return, Allah willing."
He further stated, "To the Zionist enemy, we say: we will not surrender, our will shall not be broken, and we will not step back from our decision to support our people in Gaza until the aggression stops, the blockade is lifted.
Addressing Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu directly, al-Mashat said "You will not be able to protect the Zionist herds from our missiles." He warned all airlines still flying to Lod Airport, known as "Ben Gurion" in Israel, that they are at risk at any moment.
He emphasized that the Zionist herds must understand that Yemeni missiles are capable of reaching their targets, and shelters will no longer be a safe haven for them.
He called on all travelers worldwide to avoid flying with airlines still operating flights to Lod Airport, as they are subject to Yemen's sanctions and are not safe.
President al-Mashat warned the Zionist population Shelters will no longer be safe. "You should make your own arrangements and understand that your government cannot protect you."
He added, "The filthy Netanyahu government is incapable of protecting you; the coming surprises will be painful, and our missiles will reach their targets."
He also confirmed that Yemen’s air defenses are capable of handling F-35 fighter jets, stating "what had prevented us from acting before was their hiding near civilian aviation, which will now force us to close navigation in their airspace so that our defenses can engage them effectively.
President al-Mashat concluded with a final warning "The Zionists should prepare for a hot summer."
Sana’a International Airport is Yemen’s primary gateway for air travel and a vital infrastructure asset for the country. Over recent years, it has repeatedly come under attack amid ongoing US-Saudi-British-Israeli aggression.
The airport serves both civilian and humanitarian needs, making it a critical facility for Yemen’s population. Targeting such civilian infrastructure escalates tensions and raises international concerns about the impact on innocent civilians and the disruption of essential services.
