Leader Warns of Gaza’s Deepening Humanitarian Crisis After Two Years of Blockade

News - Yemen: The Leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badreddin al-Houthi, described the overall humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip due to the Israeli aggression and the ongoing brutal siege, which has lasted for over 600 days.

In his speech on Thursday, the Leader emphasized that the tragedy of the Palestinian people is not a recent development but has persisted for 77 years. He stressed the importance of not viewing this suffering through a narrow, short-term lens.

Sayyed Abdulmalik addressed the repeated crimes committed by the Zionist enemy entity, including the targeting of the nine Palestinian doctor’s children and the deliberate attacks on displaced people during nighttime. He explained that the Zionist-Jewish mentality seeks to eliminate the Palestinian people from their land.

He described the Zionist aid distribution plan as a "deceptive tactic and a farce," aimed at "engineering starvation" in Gaza. He stressed that the Zionist enemy entity prevents the entry of medicine and aid, and all its efforts, crimes, and genocide are intended to displace the Palestinian people in both Gaza and the West Bank.

He pointed out that the enemy seeks to force hundreds of thousands of Palestinians into confined areas, waiting for meager amounts of food under a "criminal distribution mechanism," while blocking thousands of aid trucks loaded with food that ends up rotting.

The leader described the storming of Palestinian homes, setting them ablaze, and burning fields and farms as tactics of settler mobs. He affirmed that the aid distribution mechanism is an "internationally unacceptable farce," and any international party that accepts it is "accepting the violation of all international covenants and human rights."

He stated that the Zionist enemy entity’s efforts to engineer hunger and control food distribution constitute a "crime against humanity." He noted that the enemy continues to target Gaza’s healthcare sector alongside killings and starvation, all part of its goal to displace Palestinians and fully occupy the Strip.

Continued Attacks in the West Bank
Turning to the West Bank, Sayyed Abdulmalik confirmed that the Zionist enemy entity persists in all forms of aggression, highlighting the large number of settlements it seeks to establish in the occupied West Bank to consolidate its control.

He added that the enemy continues its assaults in the West Bank—killings, kidnappings, theft, and looting—while Zionist settlers still attack Palestinian homes, set them on fire, and burn agricultural crops.

The Leader also recalled the Zionist Jews’ occupation of Quds, describing it as "one of the worst memories of our Islamic nation." He stressed that the Muslim world should have paid attention to this anniversary and renewed its sense of responsibility, recognizing the danger of neglecting its holy sites.

He warned that the enemy’s near-daily incursions aim to erase the Islamic identity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling on the Muslim world to assess the escalating dangers facing Al-Aqsa as the Zionist enemy continues its hostile steps toward its eventual destruction.

He continued: "The Zionist enemy entity does not hide its goal of destroying Al-Aqsa Mosque—it is a declared objective, and the steps to achieve it are exposed and clear." He explained that the enemy’s increasingly frequent incursions are attempts to "normalize a Jewish character for Al-Aqsa."

He revealed the excavations and tunnels under and around Al-Aqsa, which are systematically carried out with the ultimate goal of demolishing the mosque.

He noted that there are now 27 tunnels and excavations, through which the enemy seeks to push Al-Aqsa toward collapse, leaving the southern wall of the mosque "hanging without supporting foundations."

The Leader affirmed that work on these tunnels has been ongoing for many years, not something new—planning began in 2005, and the enemy entity inaugurated them six years ago with the participation of the then-US ambassador. He stressed that the targeting of Al-Aqsa is "not a reaction to the Al-Aqsa Flood but part of a long-standing campaign," and the enemy is working to Judaize Quds through various means.

Sayyed Abdulmalik criticized the Muslim world’s complete silence in the face of Zionist Jews’ actions, as they carried out the largest incursions into Al-Aqsa and its courtyards by the thousands. He pointed out that the scale of Zionist incursions and rituals in Al-Aqsa demonstrates their efforts to Judaize it and erase its Islamic identity.

He warned of the danger of affection and loyalty toward Zionist Jews among Arabs, calling it a "moral bankruptcy and a corruption of natural disposition." He cited the Quranic verse:

He explained that it is a flaw in human nature to desire relations with Zionists given their evil, criminality, tyranny, hatred, and deceit.
