US Navy: Red Sea Engagements 'Most Intense Combat Operations in History'

News - Yemen: The US Navy has declared that the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman experienced one of the most intense combat operations in history while operating in the Red Sea, in reference to the scale of threats posed by Yemeni attacks during the second wave of US escalation in Yemen.

According to a report by the US Navy-affiliated website USNI News, the Truman lost three F-18 fighter jets during its most recent mission. The report further noted that American forces used over 1.1 million pounds of munitions during fifty days of their aggression on Yemen, and described the overwhelming joy and relief felt by the crew of the Truman and the USS Stout destroyer upon returning from combat.

The site stated that after five months of confrontations with the Yemenis in the Red Sea, the USS Stout and the Harry S. Truman completed one of the most intense combat operations in US Navy history in decades.

Since mid-March, US forces have launched attacks on Yemen in support of the Zionist enemy, which is carrying out a genocidal war against Palestinians in Gaza.

In response, the Yemeni Armed Forces have imposed a blockade on Israeli navigation in the Red Sea and have conducted ballistic missile and drone operations against the Zionist entity in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Following US intervention, the Yemeni Armed Forces engaged American military assets directly, launching operations against US aircraft carriers and their accompanying strike groups. After two months of fierce confrontation, US forces were compelled to withdraw, leaving the Zionist entity to face Yemeni operations alone, while the naval blockade on Israel remained in place.

According to military analysts, the withdrawal of Truman and the destroyer USS Stout reveals the scale of threats posed by the Yemeni Armed Forces in the Red Sea, which ultimately forced the US to retreat after failing to defend itself—let alone defend the Zionist entity.
