News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces announced a successful military operation carried out by their Air Force targeting Lod Airport in the occupied Jaffa area. Utilizing two “Yafa”-type drones, the operation achieved its objective with precision.

Describing the strike as a victory for the oppressed Palestinian people and their fighters, the Armed Forces condemned the ongoing genocide being committed by the Zionist enemy in Gaza. They expressed sorrow that while pilgrims prepare to stand at Arafat in praise and glorification, the blood of their brothers in Gaza continues to be shed — without support or assistance from the broader Islamic Ummah.

The Armed Forces emphasized that the sons of the Islamic Ummah possess the power to halt this unprecedented bloodshed. Yemen remains steadfast in fulfilling its religious, moral, and humanitarian duty toward the oppressed Palestinian people.

A call was issued to all peoples and countries of the Ummah to rise to their responsibilities toward Gaza, urging them to abandon negligence, complacency, procrastination, and betrayal. The statement concluded with a strong warning that Allah will not bless any nation that forsakes its duties, shirks its responsibilities, or surrenders to its enemy despite possessing the necessary capabilities and resources.

Finally, the Yemeni Armed Forces affirmed that their operations against the criminal Zionist enemy will persist until the aggression on Gaza ceases and the siege is lifted.

Since the outbreak of the Gaza war in late 2023, Yemen has emerged as a key actor in the regional support front against the Israeli enemy. The Yemeni Armed Forces began launching missile and drone attacks targeting Israeli infrastructure, most notably Lod Airport (Ben Gurion). 

These operations, framed as acts of solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, have increasingly drawn regional and international attention due to their strategic precision and psychological impact.
