News - Yemen: Yemeni President Mahdi Mohammed Al-Mashat has renewed his warning to foreign companies investing in the Zionist entity, cautioning them about the risks of continuing operations amid Yemen’s escalating efforts to impose comprehensive economic pressure in response to the ongoing crimes in Gaza.

President Al-Mashat affirmed that Yemen is dealing responsibly with parent companies that have expressed a willingness to withdraw, acknowledging that the investment environment is unsafe and requesting time to exit the occupied territories.

“We issue these warnings and advisories because we know that the Zionist enemy’s government is indifferent to the losses these companies may incur,” he said.

He concluded by emphasizing that a regime that shows no concern for the lives of its own captives will certainly show no regard for the well-being of foreign investment firms.

Since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza in October 2023, Yemen has taken an increasingly assertive role in supporting the Palestinian cause through military and economic pressure. The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out a wide range of operations—including missile and drone strikes and the imposition of aerial and naval blockades—aimed at disrupting Israeli infrastructure and international investments tied to the occupation.

Key Israeli economic assets, such as Lod Airport and the port of Eilat, have come under repeated attack, prompting major global airlines and shipping companies to suspend operations. These actions are part of Yemen’s broader strategy to compel an end to the war on Gaza and the lifting of the siege.

Amid this escalation, President Mahdi Al-Mashat has issued direct warnings to foreign companies still operating in Israel, urging them to withdraw immediately or face the consequences of continued association with an unsafe and increasingly unstable environment. His statements highlight Yemen's intent to escalate further if necessary, expanding the scope of pressure on the Zionist entity and its economic partners.
