News - Yemen: Foreign Minister and Minister of Expatriates Affairs, Jamal Amer, affirmed the continued resilience of Yemen’s diplomatic and political front in confronting the US-Zionist-Saudi-Emirati aggression and their allies. He emphasized the importance of highlighting the injustice faced by the Yemeni people, defending the sovereignty, dignity, and rights of Yemen and its citizens, and working toward ending the aggression and lifting the comprehensive blockade—ultimately achieving a sustainable political resolution and building a state founded on law, justice, and order.

His remarks came in a congratulatory message addressed to Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and President Mahdi al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council, on Eid al-Adha.

Minister Amer expressed the full support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates for all decisions made in support of the Palestinian cause and in opposition to regional forces of domination and arrogance.

He reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to its national responsibilities and collaboration with other national institutions to achieve key goals, including ending the aggression and blockade, restoring security and stability, and advancing reconstruction efforts.

He concluded by praying to Almighty Allah to accept the good deeds of all, and to bless the occasion by bringing victory, pride, and sovereignty to the Yemeni people, the Arab and Islamic nations. He renewed his pledge to uphold Yemen’s flag high and to continue on the path of the righteous martyrs who gave their lives to secure a future for the nation.

Amid ongoing US-backed aggression and blockade, Yemen has maintained a dual strategy of military resistance and diplomatic engagement. Since the war on Gaza began in October 2023, the Sana’a-based government has intensified efforts to highlight Yemen’s sovereignty, defend its people’s rights, and support the Palestinian cause on regional and international platforms.

The Foreign Ministry has played a key role in this effort, countering foreign pressure and advocating for a just peace, an end to the blockade, and national reconstruction.
