News- Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a special military operation targeting Lod Airport in the occupied Jaffa area, achieving a direct hit.

In an official statement this evening, Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, explained that the Rocketry Forces launched a special military operation targeting Lod Airport in occupied Jaffa with two ballistic missiles — one hypersonic Palestine-2 missile and the other a Zolfaghar missile — confirming that one of them struck the airport directly, while enemy interception systems failed to stop it.

He noted that "the operation successfully achieved its goal, forcing millions of occupying Zionists to flee to shelters and halting air traffic at the airport."
He added that "the operation comes in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their resistance fighters and in condemnation of the genocide being perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against our brothers in Gaza."

The statement also stressed that "the Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that the air navigation ban to and from the airport remains in effect and renew their warning to the remaining companies that they must immediately suspend all flights to and from the airport."

In response to the Zionist aggression on Hodeidah, the Yemeni Armed Forces warned all companies and parties against continuing to operate through the Port of Haifa, which has now been included in their target bank.

Yemen's Present Mahdi  Al-Mashat, announced the imminent start of a new deterrence phase against the Zionist enemy, which requires warning countries beforehand.

President Al-Mashat emphasized in remarks on Tuesday that Yemeni strikes on the Zionist enemy will be calculated, effective, and vital, ensuring that the forces maintain superiority and control over the battlefield.

Since the outbreak of Israel’s war on Gaza in October 2023, Yemen’s Armed Forces have intensified their regional operations in solidarity with the Palestinian cause. These actions—ranging from missile and drone attacks to maritime disruptions in the Red Sea—have directly targeted Israeli interests.
