Yemeni Strikes Drive Low-Cost Airlines Out, Intensifying Occupiers’ Travel Crisis

Yemeni Strikes Drive Low-Cost Airlines Out, Intensifying Occupiers’ Travel Crisis

News - Middle East:  Zionist media have confirmed that the withdrawal of international air carriers is tightening the noose further around the occupiers, compounding their general economic woes.

As Yemeni operations continue as part of a comprehensive aerial blockade, international airlines have been halting their operations at Israeli airports—one after another—from major global carriers to low-cost airlines, worsening the suffering of the occupiers.

The Zionist newspaper Globes reported that the continued suspension of flights by foreign low-cost airlines to "Israel" is a major blow to 'Israeli' travelers.

It added that the absence of low-cost airlines is leading to a rise in ticket prices and the cancellation of many travel destinations for passengers.

The paper noted that EasyJet, a low-cost airline, had suspended its flights. It was the only airline offering direct routes from Tel Aviv to Basel and Geneva. The report also mentioned that Ryanair had extended its suspension of flights and was the only airline providing direct service to Bologna, Turin, and Naples in Italy.

Meanwhile, the Zionist travel and tourism website Lametayel reported that Israelis are facing the most expensive year ever in the aviation sector, pointing out that low-cost airlines do not intend to resume their flights, leaving Israelis deeply disappointed.

These reports follow EasyJet’s Tuesday evening announcement extending its boycott of Israeli airports until July 31. This long-term suspension reflects the conviction among international air carriers that the Zionist entity is incapable of resolving the threat posed by Yemeni operations.

Significantly, Hebrew-language media had previously reported that the Yemeni blockade has triggered an unprecedented spike in airline ticket prices. Some analysts believe the high cost of air travel is part of deliberate Zionist measures to curb the rising trend of reverse migration, which continues to eat away at the foundation of the “Israeli” entity—especially amid intensifying Yemeni operations that are spreading fear among millions of Zionists. As a result, the sense of safety and stability—once considered a prerequisite for living in occupied Palestine—has vanished.

This fear now touches all settlers and anyone dealing with the entity, including foreign officials. As admitted by US Ambassador to the Zionist entity Mike Huckabee, no one in occupied Palestine is safe, with everyone being forced to take shelter. Argentine President Javier Milei also stated Tuesday evening that he witnessed firsthand from his residence in occupied Jaffa the dire situation faced by Zionists due to Yemeni operations.

Since October 2023, Yemen has launched missile and drone attacks on Israeli targets in solidarity with Gaza, declaring a full aerial and maritime blockade against the Zionist entity. These operations, led by the Yemeni Armed Forces, have disrupted air traffic and triggered repeated missile alerts across occupied territories.

In response, many international airlines have suspended flights to Israeli airports due to security concerns. This has led to a sharp rise in ticket prices, limited travel options, and growing frustration among Israelis.

Yemen has vowed to continue its operations until the siege on Gaza is lifted and Israeli aggression ends, effectively expanding the battlefield and intensifying pressure on the entity.
