“The UN Charter is the governing framework for relations between states, and we will not allow it to be violated,” he asserted.
Al-Mashat emphasized that ignoring this foundational charter would plunge the world into lawlessness. “Violating the UN Charter means turning the world into a jungle where only the strong dominate,” he said.
He condemned countries that use the pretext of global leadership to justify interference and aggression, adding, “It is the duty of certain countries to preserve international peace and security—not to engage in acts of aggression or meddle in the sovereignty of other nations.”
Al-Mashat criticized the selective application and exploitation of the UN Charter by those tasked with upholding it, warning that such hypocrisy has driven many nations—including Yemen—to call for reform and a return to its founding principles.
Calling for unified global action, he urged peace-loving nations to raise their voices against Zionist aggression, “Before its fire reaches every nation, the world must take a stand.”
He added, “All peace-seeking countries must work to halt the blatant Zionist aggression against Iran and the broader region.”
He further cautioned that if international unity collapses under the weight of Zionist influence, “the language of force will become the only alternative.”
Al-Mashat warned that the world is approaching a pivotal crossroads: “When the dust of battle settles, a new world will emerge—one whose shape and outcomes no one can yet predict.”
He concluded by pledging Yemen’s commitment to stability, “We will take all necessary measures to achieve peace and security.”
Regional tensions surged after the Israeli enemy, with US backing, launched an aggression on Iran early Friday, killing senior military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians. In response, Iran invoked its right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, launching the “True Promise III” operation — a wave of missile and drone strikes targeting Israeli military sites.
Sayyed Khamenei warned that Israel’s miscalculation would have dire consequences, promising powerful retaliation from Iran’s Armed Forces.
Coordinating with Iran, Yemen’s Armed Forces also escalated their campaign, launching Palestine-2 hypersonic missiles at Israeli positions in the occupied Jaffa. Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e said the operation supported the people of Iran and Gaza and was a direct response to Zionist crimes.
The use of hypersonic missiles marked a significant leap in Yemen’s strike capabilities and highlighted growing military coordination with Iran. Yemeni forces reaffirmed their commitment to continue operations until the siege on Gaza ends, calling on Arab and Islamic nations to stand against Israeli aggression.
