News- Yemen; The Al-Masirah media network strongly condemned the Israeli aggression targeting the headquarters of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s official Radio and Television organization, calling it a “dangerous precedent” that constitutes an attack on an official media institution.

In a statement issued Monday, Al-Masirah said, “We strongly condemn the Israeli aggression on the building of the official Radio and Television of the Islamic Republic of Iran.” The network described the attack as a “treacherous and cowardly act that reflects the enemy’s abject failure.”

Al-Masirah paid tribute to the “knights of the jihadist media front in the Islamic Republic of Iran” and declared its “full solidarity” with them. The network emphasized that targeting media institutions is a blatant violation of international laws, which prohibit attacks on civilian and journalistic entities.

It added, “By attacking media institutions, the Israeli enemy proves its inability to confront the solid discourse of Iran’s free media.” Al-Masirah affirmed that “the continued voice of free media and its coverage of the Iranian people’s heroism in the face of Zionist aggression is a slap to the enemy.”

Likewise, the Al-Mayadeen network condemned the aggression, describing it as “not only a crime against media and journalists, but also a war crime against humanity.” Al-Mayadeen called on all media organizations and international bodies to take a clear and explicit stand in solidarity with free press institutions under attack.

Earlier, the Iranian television stated in a statement that the aggression targeted one of the buildings of the Radio and Television Corporation in Tehran, resulting in material and human casualties.  

These raids come as the Israeli enemy entity has resorted to expanding its aggressive operations against the Islamic Republic to include all aspects of life, a step aimed at intimidating journalists and silencing the free voice opposing Zionist aggression.  

For its part, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard called on the occupiers in occupied Jaffa (which the Israeli enemy refers to as "Tel Aviv") to evacuate as soon as possible. It also urged the enemy's Israeli-affiliated channels and media to quickly vacate their headquarters.
