News - Middle East: In the early hours of Thursday, Israeli occupation forces committed a new massacre against starving Palestinians waiting for aid near the Nitsarim checkpoint in central Gaza.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli drones and military vehicles targeted civilians as they gathered to receive humanitarian aid near Gaza Bridge and Salah al-Din Street in the center of the Strip.

Medical sources confirmed that 16 people were martyred and over 100 others injured as a result of the Israeli targeting of aid seekers near Nitsarim.

The occupation continues to carry out daily massacres across Gaza, specifically targeting those gathering at aid centers. This occurs amid a collapsed healthcare system and a severe lack of medical supplies to treat the wounded, further increasing the death toll from ongoing Israeli airstrikes.

At dawn on Wednesday, the Israeli army killed 11 Palestinian civilians and injured more than 70 others at the same aid distribution point near the Nitsarim axis.

Since May 27, Palestinians have faced live fire at food distribution points as part of a joint American-Israeli plan condemned by the United Nations and numerous international organizations for militarizing aid, humiliating civilians, and driving them from their homes.

According to medical reports, the total number of Palestinians martyred while seeking food at distribution points has risen to around 400, with more than 3,000 injured since May 27.
