News - Middle East: Hussein Mortada, Director of the Sonar Media Center, emphasized the importance of popular movements in support of the causes of the Muslim nation, especially the mobilization of the Yemeni people. He considered these stances to be among the constants now recorded in the history of resistant nations.

Speaking to Al-Masirah channel on Friday, Mortada noted that the Yemeni people may be the only nation that takes to the streets weekly in solidarity with the causes of the Ummah. He described this as a shining point in their record of struggle and steadfastness, and a fruit of their authentic religious and faith-based identity.

He added that the unwavering principles upheld by the Yemeni people in confronting aggression, oppression, and wars against Arab and Islamic nations represent some of the most important symbols of unity, cohesion, and genuine solidarity. He also pointed out that some European nations have shown more engagement than certain Arab states—a matter that had negative implications. However, he noted that the situation has begun to shift, particularly with the continued aggression on Gaza and rising threats against Iran, which have exposed many truths and awakened the collective conscience of nations.

Turning to the Iranian scene, Mortada praised the widespread public turnout in Tehran, affirming that these spontaneous marches send a powerful message that the Iranian people stand by their leadership and state, undeterred by threats issued by the Zionist enemy.

He explained that attempts by Zionist leaders to drive a wedge between the Iranian people and their leadership have failed, as the protests and marches have turned into a popular referendum reaffirming Iran’s principles and its rejection of any foreign domination or interference.

Mortada noted that this moment marks a major turning point, especially as scenes of destruction within the Zionist entity—resulting from Iranian military responses—demonstrate the effectiveness of Iran’s retaliation and have reinforced the bond of trust between the people and their leadership.

He stressed that the battle is no longer between conventional armies but between a free people and an aggressor, which strengthens Iran’s resilience on all levels. He also highlighted that Iranian figures once seen as part of the opposition have expressed support for the state's official decisions and stood by their homeland, signaling a genuine national unity and popular cohesion that has bolstered the leadership’s position in continuing the confrontation and response.
