News - Yemen: Ahmed Al-Ali, former minister in the National Salvation Government, stated that the mass rallies held in Al-Sabeen Square and across all the free provinces of Yemen reflect the Yemeni people's unwavering support for Arab and Islamic causes. 

He added that these demonstrations also affirm Yemen’s position in response to the ongoing Zionist aggression against the people of Gaza.

In a statement to Al-Masirah on Saturday, Al-Ali affirmed that both the leadership and people of Yemen continue to stand in solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of Zionist aggression—an unprovoked assault, he said, prompted solely by Iran’s steadfast support for Al-Quds and the Palestinian cause.

“Yesterday, we witnessed millions of Yemenis gathering in public squares in solidarity with Iran, which stands as a steadfast bulwark against American-Zionist schemes in the region,” he added, emphasizing that Yemen’s position on crucial and strategic issues remains principled and consistent.

Regarding Yemen’s ongoing support operations, the former minister confirmed that Yemen continues to close the Bab al-Mandab Strait to the Zionist enemy, noting that the port of Eilat in the occupied territories remains shut and will stay closed until the liberation of Palestine. 

He pointed out that for the past two years, the Palestinian people have endured relentless Israeli missile strikes, and now the Zionist entity is beginning to taste the same suffering—struck by the missiles of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Al-Ali extended greetings to the fighters of the IRGC, the revolutionary leadership of Iran, and the entire Iranian people, saying this is an opportunity for the world to recognize the noble Iranian nation that truly upholds the banner of Islam. 

He stressed that Yemen’s stance is an inseparable part of the honorable and heroic positions of the Axis of Resistance. “We are in one battle—a legendary struggle aimed at liberating the holy sites, foremost among them Al-Quds Al-Sharif,” he said.

He concluded by stressing that this critical and historic moment in the life of the Arab and Islamic Ummah affirms the need for all to join this movement—through mass mobilization and participation in public squares and streets.
