News - Yemen: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) praised Yemen’s firm position and readiness to stand by any Arab or Islamic country subjected to Zionist aggression.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the PFLP also commended Yemen’s courageous stance in declaring it would target American ships and warships in the Red Sea should the US become involved in aggression against Iran.

The statement emphasized that Yemen’s position marks a significant development, reflecting a deep awareness of the current stage, the unity of struggle, and the shared destiny of the Ummah. It affirmed that “the battle against Zionist-American aggression is the battle of the entire Ummah.”

Earlier, the Yemeni Armed Forces warned that US ships and warships in the Red Sea would be targeted if the United States launches any aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In their statement released Saturday, the military declared that any US-Israeli attack on Iran—aimed at enabling full Israeli control over the region—would not be tolerated. Such aggression constitutes an assault on the freedom, independence, and dignity of the entire Muslim nation and would lead to the occupation of lands, plundering of resources, and desecration of sacred values.

The statement further emphasized that the current conflict extends beyond Iran, encompassing ongoing crimes against Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrians, and Yemenis. It accused the Israeli enemy—backed and supported by the United States—of driving a Zionist plan to dominate the region by eliminating Iran as the main obstacle.
