Iran Strikes Cripple Israel: Economic Collapse and Mass Exodus

News - Middle East: Iranian military operations continue to dismantle what remains of the Zionist entity’s economy, with wide-reaching impacts across the occupied territories. At the same time, reverse migration and internal economic turmoil have reached unprecedented levels.

Zionist media have quoted officials confirming that the entity is undergoing an economic and security collapse not witnessed even after the events of October 7, 2023.

The Hebrew newspaper Maariv cited the so-called Deputy Director of the Economic Department in the Histadrut Federation, stating, “The economic shutdown during the war with Iran is costing 1.5 billion shekels per day,” holding Netanyahu’s government responsible for this unprecedented drain.

He added, “Such an economic shutdown didn’t even occur on October 7,” referring to the severe blows dealt by the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Zionist occupier.

The official also noted signs of an internal economic war between the regime and its settler population, highlighting the lack of a compensation mechanism or any economic contingency plan. He explained, “All closed businesses and workers forced to stay home are receiving no compensation,” and stressed that any future framework must ensure employers continue paying wages.

Meanwhile, the financial daily Calcalist reported that since the war with Iran began, 9,318 Zionists have been displaced, including 7,010 evacuated to hotels—further straining the regime’s humanitarian and financial resources. This crisis remains unresolved despite a ceasefire on the Lebanese front that has lasted more than eight months.

The paper added that 32,717 compensation claims have been filed with the Compensation Fund since the start of the war, placing enormous financial pressure on the Netanyahu government and reviving economic crises even worse than those experienced before the end of the Gaza war in January.

Simultaneously, reverse migration is hollowing out the Zionist entity, as Iranian strikes continue to spread fear and destruction across occupied Palestinian cities.

Though the regime closed airports in an attempt to stem mass emigration, many settlers have fled by sea to Cyprus or through land crossings into Egypt and Jordan.

Under intense domestic pressure and facing the collapse of both security and economic stability, the Netanyahu government has reopened the airports with strict limits, including caps on flights and passenger numbers.

The so-called Minister of Transportation announced, “Starting tomorrow, flights will be allowed to depart with a maximum of 50 passengers each.”

Reuters reported that El Al Airlines alone received 25,000 flight requests from occupied Jaffa to destinations abroad just since Saturday—an unprecedented number that reflects the scale of the exodus. This overwhelming demand, despite restrictions, indicates that hundreds of thousands are seeking to flee occupied Palestine, with reports suggesting over 1 million Zionists have already left.

These developments confirm that the Iranian front has become an existential threat to the Zionist entity—crippling its economy, dismantling its security apparatus, and sowing panic among its population. The once-bustling neighborhoods of occupied Jaffa have become ghost towns, mirroring the evacuated settlements in the north devastated by Hezbollah’s rockets.
