News - Middle East: Political activist Ali Al-Emad stated that the appalling global silence in the face of the ongoing massacres in Gaza stems from a moral decline and a cultural defeat before the liberal Western project.

Al-Emad attributed the public’s failure to take meaningful action in support of Palestine to a widespread focus on personal interests, materialistic values, and the embrace of Western consumerist culture at the expense of authentic religious and Arab identity.

He affirmed that surrendering to Western intellectual, cultural, and economic dominance—and being deceived by the glitter of Western civilization—has stripped Islamic societies of their moral compass and awareness of their central cause.

He emphasized that the blatant violations by the Zionist entity, including attacks on sacred sites, human dignity, and religious sanctities, would not be possible if Zionists were not confident that the people would no longer respond as they once did.

Al-Emad noted that the Arab sense of honor—present even in the pre-Islamic era—has been lost in some societies due to misleading media narratives and the deep influence of Western cultural invasions targeting families and children at their core.

He added that hospitals in both Gaza and Tehran have been deliberately targeted, constituting clear violations of international law. Yet, global institutions remain conspicuously silent, failing to hold the Israeli enemy accountable for its war crimes.

Israel has repeatedly breached the Geneva Conventions, which are designed to protect civilians and medical personnel during armed conflict.

In Gaza, entire healthcare systems have been reduced to rubble. Now, in Iran, doctors and paramedics are being directly targeted. In both instances, Israel is systematically assaulting healthcare infrastructure and personnel in blatant defiance of international legal norms.
