News - Yemen: The Southern Movement component participating in the National Dialogue Conference and a signatory to the Peace and Partnership Agreement praised the content of the speech delivered by Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi on the occasion of the anniversary of the Prophetic Migration.

In a statement issued Friday, the Southern Movement congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran — its leadership, government, and people — as well as the entire Ummah on the historic victory over the temporary, vanishing Zionist enemy entity and its partner, the American enemy, along with all who orbit within their sphere.

The statement noted that this strategic victory offers valuable lessons, particularly as it thwarted the aggressive schemes of the enemies of the Ummah, which aimed to violate its geography, subjugate its people, and plunder its resources. It affirmed that this decisive victory marks a turning point in the Ummah’s history and its ongoing struggle with its enemies — declaring that what comes after this victory will not be like what came before it.

The statement also condemned the genocidal crimes and escalating aggression carried out by the enemies of the Ummah against the Palestinian people and their brothers and sisters in the Gaza Strip. It praised the steadfastness, sacrifices, and resistance of the Palestinian people, and blessed the heroic operations carried out by the Palestinian resistance against the usurping, occupying Zionist entity.

The Southern Movement further commended the qualitative operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces, which target the interests and strategic depth of the enemies of the homeland and the Ummah. It hailed their continued success in enforcing a comprehensive air and naval blockade on the Zionist enemy.

Finally, the statement called on the Yemeni people to maintain and escalate their weekly demonstrations and massive gatherings in support of Palestine, especially during this Friday’s march under the banner:
“Blessings on Iran’s Victory, Steadfast with Gaza Until Triumph” in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital, Sana’a, and in public squares across other provinces — highlighting the proven effectiveness and impact of these rallies in supporting and standing by the people of Gaza.

Since October 2023, the Israeli enemy has waged a relentless and deadly campaign on the Gaza Strip, killing at least 56,156 Palestinians — the majority of them children and women — in the besieged Palestinian territory. The aggression has triggered regional outrage and mobilization across the Axis of Resistance, including Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran.

Beyond Gaza, the Israeli enemy has expanded its acts of aggression into Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, targeting key infrastructure and resistance groups. Most recently, it launched a series of deadly attacks inside Iran, resulting in the deaths of more than 600 people, including military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians — a move widely condemned as an escalation of regional warfare.

Iran’s recent strategic retaliation against the Zionist entity has been hailed by allies and resistance movements as a historic and transformative victory.
