News - Middle East: Lebanese Regional Affairs Expert Khalil Nasrallah commented on today's Zionist aggression that targeted a residential apartment in Nabatieh, southern Lebanon, resulting in multiple martyrs and wounded.

In a statement on Friday, Nasrallah explained that "the enemy entity operates in Lebanon—not just its south—without restraint, deliberately targeting civilians deep inside villages and cities, disregarding all norms, international decisions, or any humanitarian logic."

He noted that "what happened in Nabatieh is part of a pattern exposing Lebanon’s state fragility and proving that resistance is not just an option but a necessity."

The Lebanese analyst affirmed that "the path taken by Israel, backed by U.S. support, alongside Lebanon’s institutional weakness, will inevitably lead to a major confrontation."

At least one female was martyred and 11 others were wounded in the airstrike targeting a residential building in Nabatieh, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.

Since October 2023, the Israeli enemy has waged a relentless and deadly campaign on the Gaza Strip, killing at least 56,156 Palestinians — the majority of them children and women — in the besieged Palestinian territory. The aggression has triggered regional outrage and mobilization across the Axis of Resistance, including Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran.

Beyond Gaza, the Israeli enemy has expanded its acts of aggression into Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, targeting key infrastructure and resistance groups.
