In an interview with Al-Masirah channel on Sunday, Al-Zubaidi explained that Yemeni operations are far from marginal — they play a major role in the broader confrontation. He said, “Yemen is part of this battle, and the Yemeni battle will continue as long as there is will, vision, and objectives targeting the depth of the entity.”
He pointed out that the Yemeni missiles launched toward the depth of the Zionist enemy entity reach their targets with precision, astonishing and confounding the enemy. Some of these strikes have even targeted locations where American forces are present, including installations related to aerial support and logistics, such as F-35 aircraft and refueling planes.
Al-Zubaidi affirmed that Yemen has now become a strategic player in any future confrontation, whether in terms of support roles or direct engagement with the Zionist enemy. He stressed that Yemen’s recent declaration of joining the battle was not just a statement but an actual military engagement on the ground.
Al-Zubaidi revealed that Yemen launched precise missile operations just two days after the aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran began. These strikes targeted vital sites in occupied Jaffa. He considered the coordination and synchronization between Yemeni and Iranian operations a clear sign of the cohesive alignment within the Axis of Resistance.
He continued, “This Yemeni strike received notable attention in the enemy’s media and served as a message that the battle is not over. We in Yemen affirm that the effectiveness of our military operations is no less than that of Iranian operations, and the battle will take on new dimensions.”
He also noted that the enemy now realizes that any adventure against Yemen will come at a high cost. He added that American ships have started to take longer routes due to Yemeni threats.
Al-Zubaidi spoke about previous operations targeting American warships in the Red Sea, which made both the American and Zionist sides realize the magnitude of the threat and Yemen’s ability to impose new equations.
He stressed that the Yemeni Armed Forces, under the leadership of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, have proven to be an essential part of the Axis of Resistance. Yemen did not stop at declaring its stance but translated its support for Iran, Palestine, and any Arab or Islamic nation into tangible operations during the aggression against the Islamic Republic.
He clarified that Yemen’s impact has not been limited to the military field, but extended to economic and psychological dimensions as well. Western and American ships were forced to alter their routes, directly affecting maritime trade and transport.
Brigadier General Al-Zubaidi concluded by saying that the Yemeni leadership does not acknowledge red lines, and that Yemen is actively and powerfully participating in all major battles within the Axis of Resistance. He affirmed that Yemen is now proving to be an effective deterrent force — a formidable player in the balance of deterrence — and that the battle to break the blockade and confront aggression will continue until complete victory is achieved.
In recent years, Yemen has steadily transformed from a war-torn nation defending its sovereignty to a central player in a broader regional confrontation against foreign hegemony. As part of the Axis of Resistance — an alliance that includes Iran, Hezbollah, and other anti-Zionist forces — Yemen has elevated its position through increasingly strategic and coordinated military operations.
Since the escalation of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the ongoing genocide in Gaza by the Israeli enemy, the Yemeni Armed Forces have not only issued statements of solidarity but have also taken direct action. These actions have ranged from missile strikes targeting critical military installations in occupied territories to high-impact naval operations that have disrupted Israeli-link shipping through the Red Sea.
Led by Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, Yemen has become a significant force capable of reshaping regional dynamics, imposing new deterrence equations, and altering the calculations of both the Zionist enemy and its American backers.
