News - Middle East: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) issued a statement on Wednesday, praising the continued operations by the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of the Palestinian people.

“The PFLP views with great pride the new qualitative operation carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces, which targeted Lod Airport with a hypersonic ballistic missile named Palestine-2, in addition to three sensitive Zionist targets in the areas of Jaffa, Ashkelon, and Umm al-Rashrash,” the statement read.

The Front added: “Brotherly Yemen makes us prouder day by day with its determination to continue supporting our people in Gaza through precise and effective operations that strike deep into the Zionist entity, using strategic missiles that have reshaped the equations of confrontation.”

The statement emphasized that despite Yemen’s significant sacrifices and the expected Zionist threats and retaliations, “we see in the Yemeni stance a courageous Arab model that neither fears aggression nor succumbs to pressure — and that continues the battle with full resolve until the criminal war of extermination on the Gaza Strip comes to an end.”

The PFLP reaffirmed that Gaza and Yemen stand in the same resistance trench, united by a shared cause, fate, and common enemy.

It also noted that the qualitative operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces reflect the unity of the struggle and restore the true meaning of Arab solidarity — a solidarity based on action and confrontation rather than words.

The Popular Front concluded its statement by declaring: “As we deeply value Yemen’s steadfast position, we see it as a model that should be followed by all forces of the Arab nation and the free peoples of the world in supporting the Palestinian struggle by every possible means.”

Amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the Yemeni Armed Forces have intensified their military support for the Palestinian people. Their latest operation — a precision strike on Lod Airport in occupied Jaffa using a Palestine-2 hypersonic missile — halted airport activity and triggered widespread panic among Zionist settlers. Additional strikes targeted enemy sites in Jaffa, Ashkelon, and Umm al-Rashrash.

These actions reflect Yemen’s strategic shift from defending its sovereignty to taking an active role in the regional Axis of Resistance, alongside Iran, Hezbollah, and other anti-Zionist forces. Yemen’s operations have disrupted Israeli-linked air and maritime traffic, reinforcing its commitment to confronting occupation and supporting Gaza by all means necessary.
