News - Middle East: Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, affirmed that the Islamic Republic possesses powerful deterrent capabilities that have yet to be revealed — and warned that Israel will suffer the consequences if it repeats its aggression.

“Our hands are full of options to respond to the Zionist enemy,” Mousavi stated. “We will respond if the entity commits another foolish act, and we have no concerns in this regard.”

He noted that Iran has only unveiled a fraction of its military power during the recent 12-day conflict, which ultimately forced the enemy to halt its aggression.

“We will not leave any act of aggression unanswered,” he stressed. “If the Zionists attack our country again, they will face a decisive and escalating response.”

The clashes erupted on June 13 after the Israeli occupation launched an aggression against the Islamic Republic with a barrage of drones and missiles. Iran responded by bombing the occupation entity, targeting military, security, and economic sites until a ceasefire was declared last Tuesday dawn.

The Israeli economy was almost entirely paralyzed, with schools and businesses (except "essential" institutions) shut down.

The Finance Ministry estimated business compensation could reach 5 billion shekels—double what the government paid for damages since October 2023, including Hamas attacks and Hezbollah strikes on northern settlements.
