News - Yemen: Nasr al-Din Amer, Chairman of the Board of the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), affirmed that the ongoing American-Zionist aggression against Yemen has failed to achieve its objectives—neither militarily nor psychologically—despite the use of advanced weaponry and stealth aircraft. He stressed that Yemen remains firm in its principled battle and will not retreat in the face of any threats, regardless of their magnitude.

Speaking to Al-Masirah Channel on Thursday evening, Amer explained that the escalation led by Washington, with the participation of the Zionist entity, is being marketed as a new phase of aggression. In reality, he said, it is a continuation of a long string of failures, which have become more apparent in recent rounds of escalation—particularly after their inability to break the blockade imposed on Zionist-linked ships.

He added that recent US and Zionist statements about “returning to Yemen” reflect a state of psychological and media confusion, especially after the failure of the naval blockade to secure the passage of even a single Zionist ship, despite the heavy presence of aircraft carriers and the Western military coalition in the seas.

Amer emphasized that both the Zionist entity and the United States had previously attempted wide-scale operations using their most powerful weapons and technologies, yet they failed to achieve any field or moral breakthrough. He reminded that “this battle was never a temporary option—it is a continuous state of confrontation, and Yemen has not and will not compromise on the causes of the [Islamic] Ummah.”

He pointed out that the source of Yemen’s weight on the regional and global stage stems from the nature of the Quranic project adopted by its steadfast leadership. This has granted the Yemeni people the strength to endure and resist the fiercest forces of aggression.

The Chairman of SABA reiterated that Yemen is fully prepared to make sacrifices for its cause, its oppression, and its principles. He affirmed that the Yemeni people are not fighting a circumstantial battle, but rather advancing a civilizational project rooted in a Quranic identity. He added: “We act in pursuit of Allah’s pleasure—and whoever seeks His pleasure attains the dignity of this world and the bliss of the Hereafter.”

Since November 2023, Yemen has launched a campaign targeting Israeli-linked vessels in the Red Sea and surrounding waters. The operations came in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, who have faced a devastating Israeli military campaign. In response, the US and its allies launched "Operation Prosperity Guardian," involving airstrikes and maritime deployments aimed at curbing Yemeni attacks and securing Israeli-linked shipping routes. Despite repeated US and British air raids on Yemeni positions, the Yemeni Armed Forces have maintained their operations and intensified pressure on Israeli-linked shipping.

Amid this ongoing confrontation, media and psychological warfare campaigns have sought to project American deterrence and military superiority. However, as Yemeni operations persist and expand, these narratives are increasingly challenged by on-the-ground realities.
