News – Middle East Yemeni operations against the Zionist entity have continued to force international airlines to suspend services to the occupation’s airports.

In the latest development, a major European airline has announced an extension of its suspension of flights over occupied Palestine.

According to the Zionist aviation and tourism website Passport News, Italian airline ITA has announced that it will continue suspending its flights to “Israel” until at least August 31.

This extension follows a series of previous postponements that began on May 4, after a Yemeni strike directly targeted the airport. ITA has not operated flights to the occupied entity since that date due to ongoing Yemeni operations, which are part of a broader air blockade.

Most recently, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the launch of a high-level military operation targeting Lod Airport in the occupied Jaffa area, using a hypersonic ballistic missile dubbed Palestine-2.

Since the outbreak of the Zionist war on Gaza in October 2023, Yemen’s Armed Forces have intensified their regional military operations in solidarity with the Palestinian cause. These actions—which include missile and drone strikes as well as maritime disruptions in the Red Sea—have directly targeted Israeli interests.

In their latest statement, the Yemeni Armed Forces reaffirmed their unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their resistance, vowing to continue operations until the aggression ends and the blockade is lifted.
