News_ Middle East: The Grand Mufti of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Khalili, has condemned the normalization of relations with the Zionist entity, describing it as both a betrayal and a moral collapse.

He expressed astonishment at the eagerness of some states to normalize ties with Israel, despite acknowledging its inevitable downfall.

“Normalization with a barbaric entity that feeds on the remains of innocent people is a grave mistake,” he said, “it is a reward for the murder of our blood brothers and fellow believers.”

The Mufti stressed that such normalization is not only a forfeiture of rights but also a deep ethical failure that will disgrace its advocates in the eyes of history and the nation.

The Israeli enemy has intensified its brutal aggression across Gaza, carrying out relentless airstrikes and artillery shelling in key areas such as Khan Younis and Gaza City. These attacks have compounded an already catastrophic humanitarian crisis, as the ongoing siege tightens its grip, severely restricting the flow of essential aid and supplies. 

Civilians, particularly those displaced and seeking basic necessities, remain frequent targets—resulting in mass casualties that shock the conscience of the world. The destruction of shelters, including schools housing refugees, highlights the extreme vulnerability of the population under siege. 

Meanwhile, medical facilities face imminent collapse due to dwindling fuel and medical supplies, threatening thousands of lives. The international community’s silence and failure to intervene have further emboldened the Israeli enemy, exacerbating the suffering of Gaza’s people.
